Flight Attendant job?

I had sex with a Hawaiian Airlines flight attendant last night.

She acts real sophisticated for somebody who makes $12.74 an hour. She was driving a used Benz with the used Benz dealer license plate holder (that always cracks me up) and was wearing $600 shoes.

I think a lot of those people in the airline business got their heads up their asses.

Aloha!

I saw a add for flight attendants in Vancouver, starting pay was $28 a hour but part time only.

I went to the job fair open house for Air Canada flight attendants, young girls for days in all shapes and sizes.

It has to be the perfect job, even if you are a baggage handler. How many girls would resist an escape from a cold Canadian winter for some warm Caribbean destination for a few days.

It really depends on what type of airplane they place you.
If they place you on a 777 you will be at your dest for like 2 days
if you fly from vanc to LA you will fly back to vanc the same day

@ Vacancier Permanent - sadly i did not get an interview due to my french not being up too par. Which I hope to rectify in 2011 and hopefully be in a stronger position (say if I choose to move back to Europe).

@ Badstuber - my friend is a baggage handler with AC. He can fly whenever he chooses, right now he is working 4 days on and 3 days off. In some ways I think his job is better than flight attendant, they get to slack around more although the pay is less.

There is a certain appeal in blue collared work. The most personally rewarding jobs for me have been the ones that really made me sweat and work hard with other men. It makes more sense than mindless inside "work" with catty women.

Another good plus about working for an airline is that you can add a "companion traveler" who can fly with or with out you at all times anywhere your airline flies. So you can have one of your wingmen rolling with you all over the world!

I have been an aircraft mechanic with Delta for 12 years now. You may consider a mechanic position. They have implemented a new system where a new hire starts as a mechanic's helper and after two years of OJT can take the FAA mechanics test and be a fully certified Airframe and Powerplant mechanic without going to a special school. After you are certified you can transition to a regular mechanic and top out in pay in 8 years at $34/hr. The benefits are good also, $50 dollars a year and you get unlimited flights worldwide!
