This is by far my favorite vocal trance track. It's awesome.

Avicii is not trance, lol. He's done well for himself though, gotta give credit where it's due.

Depends what you mean by trance. I really like psy-trance, but I'm not so much into Tiesto, Oakenfeld and the like.

There definitely are sub-genres of trance.

My personal favorite would be the dark, progressive trance-bordering-on-tribal sound from the 99-2001 era. Digweed Los Angeles CD2 for example. It's not really produced anymore, although it should be.

I've always found psy trance very hit or miss (one thing is for sure, it sounds the same today as it did 10 years ago)...but that Daydin track is good. I always prefer female vocals. Trance can sound "sexy" and I'd rather not hear a guy singing. I actually wish euro would make a come back...some euro melodies were just amazing.

Tiesto over the years has gone pop-trance, but he's making the $. Anything that's an "Ibiza" mix is usually pop trance with some annoying house. Never cared for for house. Keokiclash might be the only good house cd ever made, and it's glam electro which might as well be it's own category.

Not 100% Trance, but I found this song 4 months ago and can't stop listening to it. In the chorus it has the early 2000's dance music synth sound and it make me happier then a fag with a bag full of dildos.

thankfully i had a guided introduction to trance from a friend who was big into it. else i would have disregarded it completely, since 90%+ of it is irredeemable crap. and it got me into electronic music as a whole

Wanted to make a trance thread and found this one already made. Awesome!

Discovered trance at the end of elementary school, when I was 13/14 years old. Been a fan ever since.

First trance track I was exposed to - simply subliminal.

BT and Tiesto - both masters at their trade.

My favorite Rapture remix.

Romans 8:31 - 'What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?'

My notes.
