Technically Kanye is right. He only permits himself and Trump to be associated, he only liked how Candace and others think, he was never part of their group.

That said, he could have found a better way to state that as usual is the case with him talking about his views and feelings. The way he did that was a bit crab in the bucket like. Hard to talk about unity in the "black community" when you are doing the same thing that got the community there in the first place.

All he had to do was just gently redirect his positions. That's it. He did not have to deflate them and their causes by accusing them of using him. That's an exaggeration.

This is kinda typical though. Everytime a group of blacks try to do anything together, someone gets too upset and is quick to yank themselves out of the equation. Mike Cernovich and similar had a similar issue with the Alt-Right. If their WN tendencies were an issue, they should not have gotten close to them in the first place. Mike looked bad to some when he ejected and now Kanye and Candace both look bad.

This is yet another reason why I think blacks need to concentrate on assimilating into America wholesale. All this group this, group that, is getting too silly nowadays. We really do not need pro white or pro black politics anymore. Conservatives or not and that's it. We all range on the spectrum, and Kanye may not actually be conservative at all, but all this disavow others in the group is getting ridiculous. It is alot like the spoiled kid taking his ball home so nobody can play basketball now.

Candace, Brandon, and Anthony Brian Logan need to simply ignore Kanye's statement, maybe apologize for it (whoever is responsible, likely Candace only), and keep it moving. The lesson to learn is get everything in writing, permission wise, and in the future do not rely on fickle celebrities to spread your conservative messages. There is literally nobody preventing any of these guys from becoming another future Newt Gingrich and a famous person in their own right. I am especially looking at you Brandon Tatum. I think he could be a presidential candidate someday.

The lesson for red pilled conservative men is that these ladies (or ConservaTHOTS) in politics sometimes go too far or can misconstrue your message a bit. Just handle it gently with solid frame. Just like you would handle a woman not your own wife, keep em' at arm's length and maintain structure and boundaries when collaborating with them.

I bet he has been getting a lot of pressure from every angle to roll back his support of wrongnarrative.

Wouldn't be surprised if these tweets are to placate his critics.

Of course. It all adds up. He might be stubborn and defiant because he is Kanye, but he is far from confident hardass. Dude had a nervous breakdown from redpilling on the fashion/music industry, etc. a couple years ago. You can hear it in his speaking that he is still in recovery and cannot always form his thoughts into something concrete and cohesive. When he visited Trump in the WH recently he was a bit more like his old self, but I think he still has quite a ways to go.

I bet he constantly gets death threats too. When he talked about his wife's robbery and how that rocked him to his core and almost gave him a breakdown, you know the threats he is getting from the Shines has to bother him alot. He is not a street dude or a thug by no stretch of the imagination. Some of us if our wives get mugged or threatened, we might get bullet time slowmotion along with the rage. He might have blanked out when that shit happened to some degree.

Might even be some Bill Cosby style setups and hits about to take fold on him too. No way he was squeaky clean on the road before Kim back in the day.

I'm sure Candace went too far, but he has to manage that relationship like he does all of his business and entertainment ones too. This shit is not super serious in my opinion.

I was really touched the day he visited Trump and gave him a hug even if his speech was sort of all over the place, and lm not even American. The imagery was everything, lm sure a few NPCs had the thought, Orange Man Bad?

He's showing its ok to question the narrative, something l personally think Black ppl need an age of BLM and eternal victimhood.

Kanye is old news. Nobody even listens to his stuff anymore. It's more Drake and all the mumble rappers that are all the rage nowadays among younger people. Sorry to be a party pooper but his brunch with Trump ain't gonna swing the black vote.

You know what. You are right. Eventually more blacks will see things for themselves regardless of who endorses who at the end of the day. Might take a while to get anywhere near 30-40% split or something similar to white Americans, but eventually it will get there. If Trump is going to gain favor from blacks, he will earn it himself. His approval numbers with blacks is plenty of evidence that he is on the right track so far.

Kanye has publicaly said that he has full on bipolar disorder.
Once you know the mental symptoms that come with that, a lot of his behaviours or strange things he might say, make a lot more sense.

Good point, forgot about that as well. You can see alot of Robin Williams in him and what he is going through.

Bipolar can be complex, and sometimes you can never know if they are on their medication either. In some cases even if they were it doesn't really matter anyway.

Your forgetting something. Bipolar means altering between elevated and low moods... it does not mean psychotic episodes. Kanye’s rhetoric has been consistent the last two years... which is longer than anyone cycle of moods. This isn’t schizophrenia here, it’s just mania and depression

Is he type one or type two bipolar? Also bipolar people can have psychosis. That is not exclusive to schizophrenia.

He also said he was wrongly diagnosed and instead had sleep deprivation. Who know's what's up with the dude. He's obviously been around super shady people being at the top echelons on the music industry. Maybe it's all just a publicity stunt. His wife and her family are absolute masters at it.

Walked that back after he got another doctor's opinion. Says he was misdiagnosed and has sleep deprivation. I thought this was the Kanye thread, how come I know more about what's going on with him? [Image: lol.gif]

There is something to be said about timing. Kim Kardashian's sextape & viral fame came about right when social media was starting to hit full stride. Although the sextape with R&B singer Ray J was filmed in October 2002, Vivid Entertainment didn't release the tape to the public until March of 2007. Prior to Kim blowing up, Paris Hilton was the socialite we used to hear about the most. I think she had a more obscure sextape that had released at some point in 2004. But Paris and her family are overall less marketable than the Kardashian / Jenner clan. Kim's mom Kris Jenner literally pimps out the family as if she is a madam.

I think this could be a positive thing in terms of the black vote. There may have been a decent number of people on the fence regarding their votes. Those same people say a lot of the black conservatives are a bunch of shills for the republicans.

Kanye is showing them "Hey I'm not going to be associated with all things republican and won't endorse every single group that is anti-democrat."

His "think for himself" branding and being "woke" will probably be more effective for these on the fence voters than if he just went along with TPUSA/Blexit.

Hopefully something big in the next few days comes out from his end regarding Trump support.

On the same day his wife posts this:

Or his family is being threatened (I would assume Trump would protect him though?)

Maybe I'm overthinking it all.

Definitely over-thinking. They're two different people with differing opinions. Let's not make this more than it is.

This implies the only black demography that matters is youngsters. I'm white and not American, but I still listen to Kanye (old stuff), and my black and mixed friends are the same. What about black guys aged 30-38, surely his opinion still holds some kinda sway with those dudes. It's like saying (if Eminem supported Trump) "Eminem's opinion doesn't matter, kids don't listen to him much anymore." True (though probably more than Kanye), but plenty of people in their 30s and 40s do — and those people vote.
