Where are you guys getting these? On the net, they seem to be going for thousands just for undersized throws.

Was at the medieval fair yesterday and got some awesome fox fur from a Polish hunter stand for a pretty good price. He gave me the contact adress for his association, so I imagine if I want to get some more unusual pelts it would be doable too.

So I would say get in touch with some hunter / trader association from EE (if you are in Europe). If you are in USA just go meet some northlander hunters, they should be able to point you in the right direction.

Stay away from anything online, unless you can come test the fur first.

Got a small rabbit pelt too and put it on my pillow. Best sleep I ever had.

Fuck those tiny thin pelts, plus the hairs will fall out and make a mess literally like sleeping with a pet everynight. I know, I have a large deer pelt and I need to vacuum around it all the time.

Faux fur is the way to go if you want to sleep like a king

Of course you can get real fur blankets like the ones on the website or pictured above, but they are extremely pricey. High quality genuine fur comes with high quality genuine pricetags unless you kill the animals yourself and DIY all the way.
