Anyone used Airbnb lately?

There are two things disallowed now -

1) Can't book under the table. See an apartment you like, but want to book for a month under the table while exchanging info? Personal messages are now screened so you can't exchange A) Phone numbers, B) Facebook links, or C) Email addresses.

2) Can't poach good looking chicks renting rooms out. My angle was "man, wish I saw this earlier but already made my reservation..btw, any good tips on the city, wish I had friends who could show me around..blah..blah" but you can't exchange A) Phone numbers, B) Facebook links, or C) Email addresses as it's screened in case ppl trying booking under the table.

Just an update as of Mid-Nov 2013

It's been like that for years.

To get around it, just make a code.

For example, if your phone number is 779-885-6549, send this message to the host:

"You can call me by reading the next sentence and applying a code:

seven donkeys seven cats nine zebras eight cats eight dogs five giraffes six lions five cheetahs four elephants nine birds

Code: Remove all animals from the previous sentence."

If they have half a brain, they'll figure it out.
