I recently started work near a major university campus. During the day, I can take various breaks to walk around campus. I'm using said breaks for a few purposes: be physically active, learn a new language and day game uni chicks. My day game experience is very limited but I used to approach strangers during the day to promote my sport clubs and dance schools so I'm comfortable with doing so. I have bought Day Bang but haven't finished reading yet. I figure I'll get my approaches in as I progress through the book. I also train at the uni gym so I get some approaches done at the gym as well.
So far so good, in the last couple of weeks since I started, I've got a few numbers and a few coffee dates, no bang yet but progressing nicely with two.
I have a few questions for you veterans, especially if you have any experience day gaming in Australia (I'm in Melbourne).
Some info about myself that might be relevant: I'm 5'7", Asian with some mix, 30 y.o but look very young just like the students, dressed like one (although sharp and not sloppy). Looks wise, women often describe me as "handsome" and "fit" (never "hot" though damn it). I'd say I'm a 7. I approach girls 6-8, white or asian. No accent, I grow up here. My notch count is over 20, mostly with white girls (very few Asian girls in my social circle).
So far I've been using 3 major types of openers:
- Assume familiarity and say something to a nearby girl out of the blue, e.g "hey, no procrastination, girl!" if she's fiddling with her phone while appearing to read the lecture notes.
- Elderly "what does this do? / what are you doing with blah?" if I see a chick in the middle of some activity with equipments, posters etc.
- Lost man - asking for direction / information
Q1. How open are young Aussie (of all ethnicities) girls to day game approaches?
The vast majority of my experience is in social circle game. This is new to me. However, I've noticed that 9 out of 10 positive approaches I've got are with foreign exchange or international students: mostly from North America, Europe or China. I have no idea if they're foreign when I first approach. I often pick a girl with a pleasant face who looks like she might be receptive and like she's enjoying being there, and it just happens that most of them are foreigners lol. The vast majority of local girls just have their cunt faces on all day long. I have not seen any other guy doing day game around here at all.
Q2. Local Aussie - particularly Melbourne girls are negative - how to deal?
There's a RSD video I've seen posted on this forum where the instructor (an Aussie guy from another state) says that he's been to 80 cities in the world and Melbourne girls are the most negative and hard to crack. Now I have no idea how true that is, but with my recent day game experience, I do notice that the stuff they ramble on about with me are usually negative and whiny, while the foreign girls are more positive and bubbly. Now I don't care much about their mental state, I just want to give them dick all the same, but my own state is positive and happy, so I often find it hard to connect with the negative local girls in the 5-10 mins approaching them as a stranger (different in a social circle). I think I'm coming in with too high or too different energy for them. OTOH, I believe I ought to hold on strongly to my positive frame. How should I deal with this?
Honestly I'd rather not have any negative people in my life at all, but it's hard to see any smiling happy locals around, even on a glorious sunny spring day like today. Gotta deal somehow.
Q3. Going more direct?
I've noticed that some girls would make eye contact with me when I flash a grin looking at them (walking in opposite directions), smile and look down or away to the side. I know they dig my looks, but I've been a little chicken and haven't approached those yet. The next time that happens, I will. But knowing that they like my looks already, should I go somewhat direct or keep the usual indirect? Don't want to scare the cats, Aussie girls aren't typically the most confident nor direct type. I've done direct game successfully but only with European girls in a bar setting, with their inhibition lowered through alcohol and partying vibe.
Q4. Rambling chicks
With the girls I've opened successfully, I can get them to ramble on about themselves by asking questions. I'd insert some humourous observations or analogies of what they're telling me, to direct things - even dry topics like what they study - towards a fun or flirty zone. However, about half of the girls don't seem to bite and keep on rambling about their boring majors or life. Now I'm not sure that it's low interest, as they appear more on the nerdy / introvert side of the spectrum, likely late bloomers, probably don't know how to flirt, nor have guys in their social circle with any Game at all hitting on them. Still, I'm struggling to get them to the flirty zone where I can exchange numbers as a natural progression towards a future meetup, instead of a rather forced number close that would only result in flakes. So far I've simply ended the conversation on a good note and left.
