Food and Beverage minimum was 200 per person. We were lucky because they sold out early and other tables had their minimum raised by my bro was cool with the host, who he's used quite a few times (hence the importance of tipping and locking people down) so ours stayed the same. Ordered a bunch of food, pasta, waffles, seafood towers, etc (Food at Lavo is really good), a few bottles of vodka, and some buckets of drinks.

We killed our bottles pretty quickly ordered more to keep the drinking going. We also had a few bottles of vodka and champagne randomly show up at our table so that was cool as well. Also kicked in some money with the table next to us to get a giant fishbowl of drinks. Bottle prices were probably 40% cheaper than at night time too, I think the bottle of Belvedere Intense was only $325 and the other bottles we got were like $300. I mean we were doing lots of shots of vodka straight out of the bottle basically drinking it like water, it was crazy. You can't really be doing that in other clubs or you'll probably get kicked out for being as wasted as we were. The atmopshere is straight crazy party, basically like a LMFAO video.

The only downer is that we got so blackout drunk we missed out going to XS that night since we all woke up at like 1:30am.

At 6pm they shut it down as its a restaurant at night and they have to clean up for dinner service and the Lavo Nightclub at night (although the nightclub portion they don't open up for the Lavo Brunch). I think these are very similar to the NY Party brunches such as Bagatelle Brunch albeit way more casual.

Heading to Vegas for the first time in the morning for a week. My friend works at Encore so hopefully can get the hookup going. Diplo at Surrender Wednesday night. Any pointers from the vets for Thanksgiving week?

Pretty sure its going to be dead. I've never gone on thanksgiving, but its cold, raining and a family-centric holiday. Perhaps try to find industry night, probably the strip clubs might be better to hit up as girls there might feel a bit depressed and in need of "company".

Surrender Wednesday should be good.

There will be a party on Thursday SOMEWHERE that all the people who are there without family will be at. You'll only know what the best spot is by checking out twitter feeds of guys like Jack Colton http://www.twitter.com/jackcolton . That will probably be the best plan just to follow the crowd as it will be the only place poppin' at all.

20 years of Las Vegas and probably 100 trips, but I don't do clubs anymore. Vegas is just fantastic. So much "semi-pro" and "good girl" out for a big weekend talent in a town which operates on Game. No where does having cash & lifestyle make it so easy to operate at such a high level with 34 flavors of girls.

The Rhino has been stellar since 2000 or so. I have not been back in years, need a refresh just for fun.

Had two recent trips in last 30 days. I set my 6 key employees/crew up at Marquee with table/bottles. They dropped 4K+. They have low game but the most talented was still able to pull two Latins for some "OMG, I'm having my first 3some at the Cosmo" action. if you can't get swoops with that kind of setup, God can't save you. I was thrilled for them. Should have hung with them but I had "plans" with classic Vegas style "semi pro" retail girls I met in Lingerie store 2 years ago....

McQueen, after reading this should be able to throw some hosting business your way in town.

Cowboy Christmas upcoming, used to hit town far more often, but it brought in some numbers but low talent level as I recall.

I like the logistics of the Wynn-Core and the Cosmo on the other end. If I was younger G, I would 100% stay at the Cosmo. I will take a room there, but I find the rooms/service not at the true luxury level for my taste, but damn fine spot now. I can hide at the Mandarin O walk over and enjoy the Cosmo "buffet".

That said, solid logistics and continuous flow of LA talent through the Cosmo: number one spot for players.

STK was fun with semi pro parade everywhere, but lots of over 30 silicone, not that there's anything wrong there.... Jaleo was excellent food scene, but more restaurant than bar and not good those nights for swooping up groups. Getting drinks and posting up in the ChinaPoblano tables outside their door is an excellent spot.

The Palms is a joke and sliding into some caucasian Rio esque hell. To be fair haven't walked in Rio in a decade, but in the 90s it was Little Miami with a Latin buffet of actual South Florida talent who didn't leave their off strip location.

Do not underestimate McQueen's point of jumping in front of the cab line. I'm able to do the same idea but I just go right up and get a black car or limo usually for $50 to $80.

The $10+ for the cab line jump creates same impression at lower cost and solidifes in girls mind you are THE man.... watch the Tingles ramp up. 30 minutes in a cab line will deflate your evening like a busted balloon. In fact if you can't jump a cab line, you're far better off gaming in/adjacent to your hotel.

Just booked my tickets for the weekend after New Years and can't wait. I get one shot at Vegas a year and hopefully will be able to hit it hard and put some of the good advice in this thread to work.

On another note, I was just thinking - shouldn't Vegas have it's own flag??

If you're going during CES it's probably the worst time of the year to go. Very low number of girls in town, other than the pros. Forget the clubs, it's like 70% guys that weekend.

Best bet is to find traveling businesswomen there for CES, probably at higher end bars, restaurants and lounges.

Yeah, I figured it would be a tough time to go but it's the only time I could swing it. Think we'll try to hit the Peppermill and some local places in addition to trying to swoop some strippers at the Rhino.

"Consumer Electronics Show". Huge tech nerd convention for newest gadgets, computers, etc from around the world. A lot of Asian Businessmen go there as well as bloggers, industry people, etc.

The strip clubs will likely be standing room only with tech millionaires makin' it rain.

Probably hitting local places and things in downtown Vegas away from the madness of CES wouldn't be that bad of a strategy.
Cosmopolitan casino bars will probably be pretty good still as well, I believe most of the Convention is over at Sands Expo Center so a large number of those crowds will be at the Wynn/Encore/Palazzo/Venetian part of the strip.

It's Encore all the way for me. Last time around I felt isolated at THEhotel. Even the nights I stayed at The Cosmopolitan I felt like all the action was at Wynn/Encore.

^Its pretty damn hard too. The only people I've seen have a bad time are the people with bad attitudes.

^EDC can be a clusterfuck. If you go, yes it will be easy, but I generally stay away from the actual event. Hanging out in the desert with a bunch of sweaty, cracked out kids is not appealing to me, however, the hotels are packed and the clubs are kicking with the major djs who will play EDC and then play at one of the major clubs.

I don't think lounges are too big on the strip nowadays as they are aiming for clubs and bottle service. I think that may change a little when the Delano and the SLS open up though.

I know the downtown bars district is picking up heat but honestly, I'm not dropping $25 on a cab to get down there and then the same on the way back when I have the strip right there.

Most of McQueen stuff is on point...a few things to add..

I have been to the Rhino many a times as a matter of fact some of my friend work there is bartenders..

As for the Rhino..Yes it is the best strip club in Vegas...with the most girls and modestly priced alcohol (Sapphires= $14 dollar beers!).

If you're a visiting tourist I would recommend the Rhino one of two reasons want to see some beautiful girls but don't have any expectations of extracting 2. If you trying to venue change some girls to get them more in the mood this works sometimes when they are kind of on the bubble.

As for late night after any of the main clubs. I would recommend Drai's late night..Yes there is a steep cover/tip sometimes but that's the reason it keeps the ratio good inside. As for the McQueen suggestion it will be much easier to get in with girls. This place also gets the bottle waitresses, bartenders and industry girls after work.

As for the side bars.

The Bond Bar- This is located in the back part of the Cosmo gets popping a little earlier like 10-1ish, a little older crowd as well.

Chandelier Bar- hit or miss sometimes some random girls here but if you're staying there just check it out

Bars in Encore/Wynn-After the club ends usually packed with the after club crowd. There are a lot of hookers here late night so be careful.

Luxor- If you kind of balling on budget and happen to be staying here the bars are pretty good here in terms of the crowd can get pretty rowdy and the girls are fun here.

Hard Rock Circle- This place used to be happening spot but over they years got swarmed by PUAs and hookers. Definitely lost its edge plus its little off the strip would only recommend this place if you were staying at the Hard Rock.

General Night Club Info:

XS/Marquee/Hakkasan/Light/Surrender- are the high end venues and you tend to get more of a boogier crowd but definitely the hottest girls. Yes, there a lot of Asian girls at these venues.

Chateau/Pure/LAX/1OAK/Hyde/Bank- These places tend to get the leftovers. These venues get the girls from where they're are staying, as the promoters from the venues give them free passes at the hotel. Hyde in IMHO is underrated good venue with some hot girls but very small!

Tao- has kind of lost its luster and would rather pay to get into XS


Tips and Final Thoughts:

If you want to save money pregame, if you want to venue change take them to cheap late night diner (lots of them in Vegas).

If she is carrying a large black bag or very large purse for that matter more than likely she is P4P. No girl in there right mind is going to carry a duffle size bag into a nigthclub.

The best weekend to come by far is the Magic Show Week which is Feb 18-20. Brings over 80,000 people into town about 80 percent women!

The hottest girls always get invited to the tables. I had a few hot girls with me and can't even count how many times they got invited to the tables. Keep that in mind!

Well, going to the EDC this year. Going for EDM week the week before, too. (Should be fun cuz I have friends who work for insomniac.) I heard the clubs tend to be dead when the actual show is going on. Check out the pix--it's like a rave where all the chix are hot. evelyn lin went last year. I was so hoping. . .
