Is the sunday night swim even going at XS still?

And how does that work. you just show up with your shirt off?

From what I've been reading, it sounds like Marquee, XS, and Surrender have the best layout for pickup.

It's midweek here in vegas in the middle of october and it seems pretty dead. I went walking around the main shopping malls today and there weren't many attractive women walking around. It was mostly older people, middle-aged couples. For being in the middle of the city it was actually terrible for day game.

Getting into clubs midweek when there isn't a major act is pretty simple. As long as you pay cover you get in. Even dress code isn't that strict.

But for the more packed nights like this weekend when Kaskade is playing at XS, is it best to reserve in advance? Or will showing up 15 minutes early be enough?

Buy tickets on Wantickets. Its the same price as admission and shorter lines to get in.
There will be a 1-2 hour line if you don't plan ahead. Here's the schedule for the rest of the week for clubs that sell on there. Kaskade is $75 + ticket fees...door will be $75 for guys.

In general, the best shopping mall for day game is the Fashion Show Mall. All the others just have way too many tourists in them (or in the case of Crystals...relatively empty), Fashion Show has a slightly younger demographic and more locals that want to be upscale. Even on the weekends, you shouldn't be walking on the LV strip as its just hellish hordes of widebody middle american tourists.

If it were me and I had nothing to do and strip was dead I'd head to the Mob Museum downtown (take the city bus, takes 30 min or so...one straight shot) which is pretty cool if you're into the history of Vegas at all. I've been stuck in Vegas during the weekday when the pools aren't open and it really blows. I also liked the High Tea at the Mandarin Oriental. Really serene, you need to make reservations though. Or go to the Gun Store and shoot automatic weapons.

Good tips Partyonbro.

I agree about fashion show mall. Best place for day game. Saw lots of cute girls when I shopped there a few days ago. I checked out Miracle Mile and the Forum Shops at Caesar's...not "target rich" to say the least.

I saw the wantickets site when I clicked on the schedule for both XS and surrender. I'll make sure to plan ahead.

I think its over for the season.

The party is outside at night. You can wear swimwear, you do need to bring a shirt as they won't let you in the casino without one. I believe they have lockers but are overpriced (I remember the wet republic ones were $75 or something rediculous like that).

Yeah, most nights, the vibe of the club and demographics is determined by the DJ. For example, Thursday night, TAO is usually the best spot (I have not been in like 2 years though so maybe it changed). However, they have a hip hop act tomorrow so it might be a little hood. If it were me, I'd probably go to Surrender as the Captains of Industry (Stone Rokk and Grahm Funke) are pretty dope DJs, and I'd think they would attract the better ladies in town that night.

Need some suggestions. Me and a cougar are going to vegas during halloween weekend. She wants to do a 3 sum [Image: smile.gif]

We are going to the Fetish party on Saturday at hard rock hotel. A part of me is thinking logistically it makes sense to get a room Sat night and do vip ticket. So 1) can do caveman on a girl, take her upstairs for a quickie while my cougar girl is sitting down for a drink or chatting up another girl who she might be interested in.

Anyone ever been to that party? Is it worth it? havnt booked hotel or have parties tickets so can still go elsewhere.

I've never done it, but it definitely sounds like you should book a room at the Hard Rock. That is the big event in town, along with the music festival downtown, but that fetish ball is going to be big. Crowd might be a little "off" (swinger types) if you've been to these kind of events in the past so just get ready for that, but if you already have a girl that's down, it should be a lay up.

Just checked, for optimal logistics book a room in the older tower not the HRH...its RIGHT by the elevators for everything, I mean its in the same hotel and all but I like the older tower versus the new one. I wonder if you can have easy in and out privledges, that was the BEST thing about Rehab is if you're staying in the room, you can go in and out of the pool party, drink in the room, quick bangs, and go back.

If Hard Rock is too booked up or prices too much, you may want to try the Rumor hotel across the street. http://www.rumorvegas.com/

You'll probably do better at the fetish party as a couple if you want to score a threesome.

You're going to leave a sure thing for a threesome unattended at a fetish party? Don't get greedy and lose it all.

I went to Surrender on Thursday night.

It was alright. Not as good of a layout as Marquee, but the place was much better than Lavo in terms of both girl quantity and layout.

The place is shaped in an L starting with a long hallway that contains the main dance floor, the bar to the side, and tables. Then the L turns to the right where there is a pool area and a second bar.

Surrender was a bit dead on thursday, so I would suggest going here on a weekend or when there is a famous act playing.

The ratio was actually pretty solid, but the quality was not that great. The 4 is like the new 5 in america. When I paid my 34 dollar cover to get in, I noticed a homely hb4 chubber getting in for free. bleh.

Tons of black chicks here. Once again, most girls were in groups celebrating a birthday of a friend. I made about 7 approaches. The girls are very approachable and friendly, the key is having tight isolation/escalation. Most girls seem more interested in just hanging with their friends, rather than meeting dudes. My game is coming out of hibernation, and I haven't done too much macking in months. Go for the makeout, because you could be dealing with a girl who is quite nice to you, but not interested in sex.

The problem with the second bar was that it was hard to post up there and make approaches. There weren't enough people, whereas it was impossible to post up at the first bar because there were too many people.

They have what appear to be stripper poles here. Funny enough, a cute black chick started grinding up and twerking against some dudes crotch in the dance floor close to the bar, and some person a in a suit told her to stop. wtf? Never seen that before to be honest. Kind of felt like a highschool dance or something.

I'm not getting the whole "what happens in vegas stays in vegas" vibe. It's total marketing hype. This place was tame as fuck.

At about 2am it seemed like no more people were flowing in. I was pretty wasted so I ejected.

Anyone in Las Vegas right now? Got here and I've been up for like 30 hours now, got a bird from marquee but it seems bottle service does the job in that place easily. Anyone up for a splurge tomorrow night?

Went to XS on Saturday night. Afrojack was headlining.

The club was full, but not too packed. I reserved a ticket for myself and for my wing a few hours before going just in case. It cost 34 online, but when we showed up the stated price for men was 50, so I'm glad I got tickets.

After waiting in an artificial line for about 15 minutes we got in at about 11:30. The ratio was close to 60:40 men to women (which is good), but as the night went on it quickly become 70:30 men to women at best, and got even worse for reasons I state below.

As far as quality is concerned, this was obviously higher than surrender on thursday, and marquee on monday. Saturday is the best night, plus afrojack is a well known act, so this was to be expected. While the quality was higher, I didn't see that many total stunners. Plenty of 7s, quite a few 6s, but the average was probably a 5, whereas the average every other night I went out was probably 4.

When it came to receptivity, this night was the worst. Girls were in big-ass groups, and I was cockblocked by the mother hen. I approached only about 5 girls. This place wasn't that easy to hit on girls.

The table factor was also another challenge. Tables are a big element at XS, and my wing and I overhead many guys going up to girls offering free drinks at their table. This strategy obviously worked at getting girls to come to the table, and made the girl selection pretty bad even by 12:30am. Most attractive women were at tables by the time I was drunk enough to approach. If you're thinking about getting a table (I believe it cost about 720 bucks on iwanttickets) not all tables are the same of course. I saw many tables with no girls, and when it got later, only the tables in the best areas still had chicks.

Another thing to note is that the club was very asian/middle eastern/indian. There were absolutely tons of middle eastern dudes, likely iranians from Los Angeles coming over to vegas to party for the weekend. There were big packs of indian chicks, and east asian chicks all over the place. Maybe half the girls were european white, maximum, and only half of these were above a 6.

It's the weekend, so expect a lot of people from LA coming over to party. XS had the fewest black chicks of any place I've been to.

The layout of XS is pretty dope, though I think I prefer marquee. The nice thing about XS is that you don't have to walk down multiple flights of metal stairs to leave, like you do in marquee.

This place was a pretty big sausage fest though. (then again, what club isn't really?).

In conclusion, I have to say that vegas is okay. It's not terrible, it's not great. I'd give it a C, if we're only considering places within the United States. It's basically a place to come and flash your cash.

It's terrible when it comes to price though, and I'm doing this shit on a budget, staying off the strip, eating microwaveable meals, etc.

Buying a table here is insane, and if you decide to pay for play, you're burning cash (most guys who are getting tables are basically paying for play anyway). Cover charges here are stupid expensive, considering what you get, which is a big sausage fest with a bunch of tourists.

(Take a look at facebook pictures of hakkasan, which I affectionately refer to as "cockassan").

Vegas is a tourist trap. I felt no sense of "exclusivity" at these clubs, which McQueen was trying to get at with his suggestion to "grease" bouncers, saying "cover alone won't cut it". Actually, cover is all you need (or maybe that's just in the off season?). They let anybody in here that isn't covered in dog excrement and that has a wallet. Not to be a dick, but Mcqueen's datasheet, while generally accurate, was a little misleading in that regard. In the end, it was easy to get entry.

Day Game: The strip is a very bad place for day game. Much worse than the downtown area of your average american city. You're better of running day game out in the burbs at Trader Joe's (not joking). This is one of the homeliest slices of american demographic that decides to head to vegas. The only decent place worth day gaming is Fashion Show Mall. That's it. To be fair, it's a pretty damn good mall for day game options, as you'll see hotter girls here than in most clubs. You'll see a few 9s or 8s every half hour or so, often times walking alone.

I'm sort of wondering, who has really done well in vegas aside from Mcqueen? Spending money at the club is a big element here. There aren't many reports of dudes doing well here, especially in clubs. (I know G is going to say "rhino"). But really? There are a lot of big clubs here, and many of them are very nice in terms of the layout, the decor, the ambience, and you can hit on quite a few chicks, but your game has to be fucking sharp, and even then, you're going to need a handsome dollop of luck to get a bang with even a 6.

Rolling with a solid crew, getting a table at the right club, and popping bottles might be the best way to go, but that's going to cost you hundreds a night, which I would say is not worth it unless you're getting a guaranteed orgy.

Also, the quality in vegas is nothing to write home about, especially if you've spent time in eastern europe.

The "what happens in vegas stays in vegas" marketing phrase is just one of the lame gimmicks that suckers men into thinking they are going to get laid, so that they'll visit and blow tons of cash.

Sure, if you're a single dude with a six figure income or greater, then come to vegas with your buddies for a weekend, stay at the Wynn, and get a table wearing armani. You'll probably have a good time.

But if you're a dude with a normal bank account, and are thinking about either hitting vegas for a weekend, or perhaps doing a few weeks in latin america or asia, then the decision is simple. Don't go to vegas. Save up for the flight and budget your stay overseas.

"It's terrible when it comes to price though, and I'm doing this shit on a budget, staying off the strip, eating microwaveable meals, etc."

I think this says it all brother.

Logistics is number 1 regardless of what city you're staying in. You said you stayed OFF the strip. Bad move.

To eat in vegas is cheap, so if you were so tight you were eating microwave meals then I have to say you more than likely were not going with the right amount of cash to actually do Vegas right.

Depending on the time of year, Vegas can be filled with girls (summertime) or a cockfest (Fall).

If you do Vegas again sometime, save more money for the trip and go with a guy who has the city On Lock. Like I've mentioned in my book etc, who you roll with means a lot.

I get tables and I don't pay, so by association, you wouldn't have waited in line, wouldn't have paid cover and would more than likely been at a table with free alcohol. Table service can make or break your night at a club as I've mentioned multiple times. Just like how you mentioned that the hottest girls at XS were at the tables.
Case in point...

What exactly is the "right amount of cash to do vegas right"?

Staying off the strip was never a problem for me. In fact, I'd recommend it.

I was eating mostly at places like chipotle, trader joes, subway, etc.

And in terms of cash, I was spending quite a lot actually. I was paying cover, I was buying drinks. that's over 100 bucks a night right there.

By the way, I was going to the better clubs, so I think my experience there is valid. I was dressed well also, though not suited up.

I've done Vegas for as cheap as $200 per night but that's because of mad connections. For an unconnected guy then I would say $1,000 for every 2 nights.

Yes, you could go overseas for longer for the same amount, but for those guys who want to do Vegas that's what I recommend.

Yes. $500 per night after flight/hotel.

Te whole key to Vegas is being able to keep the party going and nothing can cockblock a guy worse than meeting a dope chick in the club and not having a few bucks to buy you and her shots and then money for a cab etc.

I think if you do Vegas for a weekend in the Summer during pool season and you meetup with a guy with great game and Vegas connects, then you would have an entirely different experience.

Well, if that's what it takes to have a good time, then I'm gonna say vegas is a pretty terrible city for getting laid.
