Glock 17. Unfortunately Cali has some of the most terrible gun laws in the USA.

I too own a Glock 17 (Gen4). Great gun. Was real happy how I could switch out the magazine catch and put it on the opposite side (Left-Handed).
That Remington is sick! I own an 870 Super Mag Express with the Waterfowl Camo.
You a fan of using Shots or Slugs?
Shots. If I was going to hunt deer or something else, I would prefer a more accurate bolt-action rifle.
Pistol:
I greatly enjoy my Springfield Armory XD-9MM and my Sig Sauer P220
Rifles:
AK-47 for civil unrest/shit hit the fan
M4 fitted with a close quarters battle receiver for urban warfare/room clearing.
.22 longrifle for hunting small game out in the woods
FNH tactical shotgun for all my shottie needs.
Favorite machine gun is the M240. It beats out the M2 Browning .50 CAL and M249 SAW hands down. The latter is such a garbage weapon I hated carrying that dumb thing around.

I haven't fired a lot of handguns, but I preferred revolvers over automatics. The S&W Model 29 (.44 Magnum), and 626 (.357 Magnum) were awesome. They just felt, and looked better.
I have fired a few wartime bolt-actions, and I really liked Mausers. There's also so much history and different types of calibers with these that you could make a major collection with just these. The M1 Carbine was also pretty cool.
It's nearly impossible to fire AR's in Canada, so I'm banking on one day going to a range in the States and renting a couple of them and a machine gun or two.

I would like to have an M4 with a holographic laser sight.
While I do enjoy shooting my H&K P30L, my G34 and G35 win out because I can run the hell out of them and actually find replacement parts. I try to replace all the springs in my competition guns every 10k-15k rounds (basically once a year). You'll spend longer than that waiting on a backorder for a H&K recoil spring assembly.

Remington 870 for bird hunting.
Sig Sauer P226 for range pistol. Thinking about trading in the Sig for a SW-99 or SW M&P, though.
AK-47 for zombie gun but an M-4 would be more practical given that 5.56 ammo is standard issue for the police state.
Walther PPK because it looks cool.
Pimped out Ruger 10-22 because you can shoot 1,000 rounds of ammo for almost nothing.
I've always wanted a Winchester 30-30, but it's pointless to have on where I'm at (no rifle ranges).
Used my pop's Winchester 30-30 when I first learned how to shoot. That gun will knock your dick in the dirt.

I want to buy a 22 rifle tomorrow. I'm looking for something as quiet as possible because I need to shoot some stuff in my yard and don't need the neighbors to call cops if possible.
Is there noise test on these things?

Get subsonic ammo.
Subsonic ammo goes slower than the speed of sound, so you there won't be that crack that happens when the bullet breaks the sound barrier.
There are also ways to make illicit silencers. Check out YouTube.
For example, an empty 2 liter bottle of soda attached to the muzzle along with subsonic ammo will make a pretty quiet plinker.
That's illegal, though, so I'm of course not suggesting you do that.
Mike I need to shoot fast and can't be fobbling around. Literally in one second. If it's noisy so be it but maybe some are quieter than others?

I'm sitting on my porch with a gun right now waiting but it may be way to noisey.
I'll explain.. I live in the woods and have been cooking a lot of steaks on the grill on my screened in porch. If I open the door late there's chaos on my porch with wild animals with panthers at the top but not on my porch yet. Its pissing me off so I'm going to kill the smaller animals first.

Don't you mean cougars?
When theres too much other shit you get more panthers. I saw one in the back yard last week and don't want one on my porch again. Mainly this freaks me out because of outside smoke breaks but in the morning alls clear.

MikeCF is right. Get subsonic 22lr ammo. It is very quiet. A good brand is CCI subsonic 22lr 40gr:

Shooting a 10/22 Ruger with CCI subsonic ammo it is about as loud as a powerful air pellet gun.
Can you buy it in gun stores normally or just online?

You can buy it at gun stores.
Heck, you can even buy it at Walmart:

Only problem I can see is that you will have to manually cycle the ammo in a 10/22 Ruger (you will have to pull back the "bolt" each time after you fire to eject a round and reload the next since it doesn't have enough powder to do it automatically).
I've shot a lot of Glocks which are fun and very reliable from what I hear, but for pistols I liked the Ruger...just felt more solid.
But this one was my favorite to shoot - the M-4. Pretty compact for a rifle and has a very nice feel to it really got pleasantly used to shooting this gun on the range.

I have a funny gun related story..
When I was a teenager I was heavy into building cafe racer style european motorcycles. This guy that ran or owned Rugers plating had a bunch of old Italian bikes there and other shit like old fire engines in Southport CT. I met him one day and he told me to stop by when I need parts..
So this dude would always be real hard to find there so I would walk into the factory and ask for him. Every fucking time I got stopped by the paranoid employees and they threatened to throw me in the chemicals and make me disappear then one level headed one would come save me and find out why I was there. This same shit like 10 times. All fucking crazy as hell.

S&W 500 is fun as fuck to shoot, but the ammo is too expensive to take it out often.

My 10-22 and 100 year old Ithica side by side are great guns too. As soon as I move out of California for a year, I'll add to what I already have.

Using .22 caliber sub-sonic rounds is one answer. But if you need more stealth, you can use BB caps or CB caps. Just Google it. They might be hard to find.
My finest firearm is a .12 gauge Parker double-barrel shotgun. About 98% condition. Truly an American legend.
Fuck the M-16. Malfunctions and high-maintenance costs led to the deaths of many US servicemen in Vietnam. Armalite offered the far superior AR-15 to the military but was shot down due to the American tradition of buying strictly from the Springfield Armory.
A Vietcong corpse was uncovered buried with his AK-47 in Vietnam years after war's end,. The rifle was caked in mud and dirt but they fired off the remaining rounds in the magazine right away with no jams. Sneeze on/near your M-16 and 50/50 chance it'll jam.
