That’s a really good question, it's almost as if she is being playful, but it may be advisable to give a serious answer anyway…I am not an aggressive person and do not like violence in any shape or form, so I will stick to the truth, but also make it clear that when the going gets tough I can keep my cool and protect her (if the situation demands it). My response would be something along those lines: “No, I abhor violence and violence has never been part of my lifestyle, but I am able to take charge (when dealing with others) and get my message across without resorting to violence. My peers respect me quite a bit and do not need to test me. Hardcore violence is “old school” in my book and I always do my best to insulate my loved ones from it.”
When she asks - are you violent?
^^^
Not necessarily bad, but way too long and involved, unless it's some ltr straight talk.
Reply to serial killer question; "you can't call me that till I'm caught," or "I make Dexter look like a pussy."
Are you violent question: "Yes," or "Against whom?" Or "Sex for dinner, death for breakfast."

Eh, I would just say
"only when I am beating up your pussy".
or
"I'm a lover not a warrior".
or
"yeah, I like to fight. After a few beers, I love to fight. By closing time, I need to fight".
