A light or pale skin tone DO NOT go well with red.

Great catch. The science behind this is probably all well and good but there are many men who have a profile that is not compatible with warm colors. For example, gray/black/silver/blue best fit my profile. Red is off-limits for me.

Tanner over at masculine-style.com was the one who pointed this out to me a few months back.

That said, if I could pull off red I would.

Agreed. Red doesn't compliment me well, something seems off. I have pretty pale skin, and dark hair, eyes, etc.

Dark clothes on my upper body with some cool jeans is what works best. I've got pants that are green, blue jeans (that have a bit of purple in it I think - cool color) some brown jeans etc.

Maybe I'll have to try a pair of red pants (nothing too vibrant tho), and see how that works with a dark shirt or sweater.

Wore a red pocket square to my last second date. Got the notch. I'm a believer.

Check out my occasionally updated travel thread - The Wroclaw Gambit II: Dzięki Bogu - as I prepare to emigrate to Poland.

Yeah this makes sense. I just realized I don't own a single piece of red clothing- with the exception of a tie. I'm fair skinned, so I'll stick with the tie, pocket square, and maybe sunglasses to add red to the mix.
