Flashing a big bankroll in public

I get paid in cash a lot since I partnered up with a friend of mine and started a new business. Sometimes I get handed $1000-$2000 in cash from customers.

Anyway, I hit up Dunkin Donuts for coffee in the morning and Surf Taco or some other lunch joint that has pretty women swarming around.

It's amazing how much friendlier women are when you flip through a stack of $100's and pull out a $20 and pay for your coffee or lunch.

I'm not saying I'm a big baller or anything. I just deal with large cash payments once in a while.

Now nobody says you have to drop big cash on a woman if you take her out. Typical drink date is fine. But planting the seed of being wealthy is a nice way to reduce flaking and get the bang. You don't have to date them either. Just pump and dump.

It's not something I do in night game. Maybe out of fear of getting jacked in the parking lot or bathroom. But it seems to get some attention during the day especially if you play it cool.

Thoughts?

I do it all the time.

The key is you have to be extremely nonchalant. Like it is as natural as breathing.

It's an old-school move deep rooted in our psychosis. It hits the "Greed Button" which we all know is one of the most powerful of The Seven Deadly Sins. Probably the 2nd most Evil next to Jealousy in my humble opinion.

I actually picked it up as a youth at The Del Mar Racetrack and Las Vegas and hanging around older scallywags and hoods.

I will straight up guarantee you right now, that anyone that hates on this move has never tried it. Or it is completely in-congruent with their steez.

I don't care who you are, it has an effect on everyone. Even rich cats. Check that. Especially rich cats.

And of course girls.

As an aside, it actually saves you money. If you flash, the more things you get for free ie cocktails, apps (and I don't mean Iphone sh*t) etc.

Higher level, Contrarian Game.

Seriously fellas try it out during the day and report back. Very least you'll get some attention and maybe some digits.

G - total random question what is the biggest stack of cash have you walked around with?

Or anyone for that matter.

I guess the most I have carried is like 1,000 bucks.

You guys don't fear the wrong type of people may see what you're carrying and decide to mug you? Or is 1,000-2,000 dollars just a drop in the ocean and no biggie if lost?

When I was selling Xmas trees I usually carried a stack around 2-3000 bucks. I'll co-sign what Parlay and G say.

I would go to the bank every few days to deposit all the cash. Walking in what that much cash in assorted bills every few days gets you noticed fast.

Flashing a bankroll is not only EXTREMELY effective but fun as fuck.

I get paid in cash and checks, however I prefer the bankroll method.

Girls get wet and men give you respect.

That being said, be careful who and where you do it.

The most physical cash bankroll I've had in public at once was around $5,500. I didn't drink much I will tell you that.

my uncle once brought 20k in gold coins over. I think he buried them in his back yard or some shit.

I had a friend whos parents would sell frames for diplomas and shit. they made BANK.

one day his dad threw a bag at me and I caught it. I looked inside and I think it was ~20gs in 5,10s and 20s all stacked/wrapped ready to go to the bank.

Like I said I don't do it at night. I'm a big guy though. 6' tall and well over 200 pounds. Long hair and tattoos. Nobody usually gives me a hard time.

You gotta remember its not really spendable money. It's business money. A deposit or payment on a job. Usually only have it on me for a day or two til I get a chance to deposit it in the bank.

I usually carry about $200 in pocket money. Most things I run through my credit card because I get a % back or points.

If I hit a casino I'll have at least $1000 on me to gamble with.

The first couple of times I did this it was by accident I didn't think anything of it. Then when I tried it again on purpose it definitely worked.

Unless you're hanging out in a bad area or a seedy dive bar I wouldn't worry people trying to suddenly jump you. Honestly, how often have you ever seen that happen?

Not sure. More when I was younger.

Now I wouldn't really do it with more than $2000, unless I am in an environment like The Track or Las Vegas or something.

You can get the same "effect" with $400-600 though. Just use smaller denominations to create a "roll".

That is sort of a Bankroll "hack" if you will.

In my opinion, this works generally for two types of cats:

1. The Sharp Dressed Mysterious Playboy type.

2. The Blue Collar Tough Guy Hood.

When I was younger, a lot of construction guys I worked with would do this on payday; cash their check and have a roll. Many times was because some of these cats had bad credit and didn't like/use banks too much and just pay for everything in CASH. Or they would have a bunch of CASH side hustles.

Still, the blue collar cat uses this method to great effect. I remember rolling around with those guys after work or at lunch and they would pay for everything with big rolls and spit Game at all the cashier/waitress/bartender girls.

I was always taught growing up that the "Italian roll" was a $100 wrapped around 50 ones and a "Jewish roll" was a one wrapped around 50 $100s. As a Jewish kid, that always cracked me up.

What does it look like. Stack of bills folded in half and elastic held together? Money clip? wallet? is there a technique for taking out the money and putting it away smoothly ? I imagine the rubber band might be awkward to get on and off...

I can't stand guys that do this, but I guess I come from the type of place where doing it can get you in a lot of trouble. And it was usually the guys that didn't have much loot that were doing it.

I used to walk around with a load of cash in my pocket, but I'd keep a separate stash in my other pocket to buy stuff with. And if I really had to dig into it I went and took a piss or at least turned around to where people couldn't see.

Again, maybe just the world I was raised in, but this still just comes across as cheesy to me. I'm sure it works wonders though, and birds don't know the difference, so if all you care about is the results at the end of the night, well, go ahead and get your freak on.

I used to do this, works best if you have a classy engraved Tiffany's money clip.

I don't do it abroad anymore though as my desire for security is up now in my older years.

I've been carrying around a 2 inch stack of cash for about 3-4 months now. 20s, 10s, a bunch of 1s. Outside is wrapped w/100 pesos (still carrying it from Tijuana, Mexico). The 100 pesos looks way different than American money and people always comment on it.

I am going back to TJ and will spend it soon (prolly next month or so). Maybe Ill put a zimbwawe trillion dollars on the outside for laughs.

You don't need that much cash to flash.

1. Get a money clip
2. Take out $500, 3 hundreds and four $50's
3. Only have your ID + credit card in the thin clip

That's about it, the trick is simply avoiding the small bills.

Everyone is running around with $20's because of ATM machines so the extra step of going to the bank to pull out $100's or $50's is the real separator.

Running around with $2g's seems like overkill to me.

Used to do this a lot ($500-600) but every year I lose more and more interest in night game.

When I do side work and even otherwise I get some of my pay in cash. I like to have some backup cash stashed as emergency money. For a LONG time I found it strange that people (especially girls) would comment and be intrigued, impressed, or just think it's strange that I would have even just a couple hundred dollar bills on me. The point above is 100% spot on. Most people hardly EVER deal in $100 bills and if you have even just a few of them sitting around, people are taken aback. It's like something they only really see in movies or on TV.

Those that are worried about getting mugged over a few hundred dollars in broad daylight, do you really think if there's any real chance of that happening that we'd be flashing cash?

Those who think it's REALLY strange to be carrying around a decent chunk of cash have never really seen the magic of cash work for them. Paying in cash can get you a discount in a LOT of places. Hell, I've had dental work done in a pristine high-class setting and got over 30% knocked off my bill by paying in cash. You know that dentist didn't report that income.

I know a guy, one of his go to jokes/sayings is to ask someone if they know who the best presidents are. The answer?

The dead ones.

The hilarity of the effect is that an 'average' person cannot grasp why you would do this. Hmmm let's see:

1. Don't like my spending habits being tracked.

2. Cash is NEVER turned down.

3. Banks can make errors; your cards can get demagnetized and then declined making you look like a fool.

4. Money talks; not plastic unless it's a Black AmEx.

I had an ex that used to bitch about me having cash. Cunt. Last I heard she's broke as ever working as a waitress and going to junior college.

Bankroll Game is TIMELESS.

i used to do this unknowingly a while ago, i always hated wallets, but after a while i noticed that after settling my bills the other party was always trying to sell more stuff to me or do more services that was not necessary in order to hustle more money out of me. how do you gives deal with this problem

It works because most of today's 9 to 5 keyboard warriors see paychecks instead of cash. So a thousand in 20s or two in 100s pops their eyes on the spot, especially downtown office crowd/women.
