Let me start this guide of by saying that I assume most of you shower. If you do not shower, this guide is not for you (you should probably shower).
This guide is also not for my fellow shower experts, you will know most of this already. This is for the people that go through the motions while they shower. (sources at the bottom)
What you will need is:
1 bar of soap
1 body wash
2 different shampoos
1 shower
PRO TIP Take a shit before you get in the shower. Wiping your ass when it's wet is terrible
So, you get in the shower and let the water hit you. But, the water is just warm so you make it hot (you like the way it burns). STOP RIGHT THERE! Hot water dries out the skin, use cold or tepid water.
Next you grab your shampoo (the same shampoo you use for every shower) and squeeze some into your hand. What you don't realize is, shampoo builds up in your hair. By using the same shampoo every day, you get a build up of shamp in your hair. Have at least two, completely different, shampoos that you alternate each time you shower. This helps prevent build-up. For example: I have a mens shampoo that is white and opaque, and a gender neutral shampoo that is green and clear.
After you rinse the shampoo out of your hair you grab your body wash and lather it on, gotta smell good right? WRONG! By using your body wash this way, you are using it to clean yourself; you're not getting the most out of the scent. Wash yourself with your bar soap, and then use your body wash. This way the body wash has no other objective than to make you smell good.
So, that you know what to do when you shower, you're probably wondering how often should you shower?
The answer is simple. Shower when you wake up in the morning, every morning. You should also take an additional shower if you were sweating excessively for whatever reason (workout, hot weather, masturbating, etc.) take a shower. If you think you smell bad, and you're going to leave your house take a shower.
Anyways, this concludes my introductory guide to showering. I hope I helped change your lives for the better.
