Up the road in an affluent suburb this billboard is irking overhill soccer moms. Why me thinks that if the chick was a fatso no one would be upset in fear of been deemed non pc. The West had a good run.

I had a dream last night where I was on a bus. Suddenly I was accused of taking the women's bus. Looking around I noticed that indeed, they were all women. Then some of the unfriendlies started a chant against me, demanding that I get off. I made some comments about how there was no comparable men's bus, and how women were no picnic to be around either. The comments only spurred on more chanting.

Women love to hive mind when they see any advantage, and love to demonize the opposing force; men. This must surely be a biological instinct, selected by evolution.

And they're jealous creatures.

Put the two together and you get them hiving against their own competition and any man who dares to appreciate the competition. All the while claiming to be pro woman, of course.

Which is why when feminists talk about prostitution they can’t decide if they are pro female choice or against it, and so often times just pretend that the women don’t actually have agency; women’s choices are actually men’s fault. Difficult to be pro women as a group while being against specific competition, without being obvious about the agenda of jealously guarding ones personal power to mate guard.

I'd like to take a second to point out that to make a legal shot in pool, at least one foot must be touching the ground. If anything, this is sexism towards men, because there's no way a dude would be allowed to sit on a pool table like that. (Forgive me if the American rules differ)

These SWPLS don't realize it but their indignation and the feeling of self righteousness they get from expressing it makes the gears of an ever more oppressive society turn. By demanding equality they deand the average be the lowest common denominator. They are saying that the most genetically gifted, hard working etc are the same as the dregs of societ. Equality is just another method of control, it makes everyone scared to commit a 'thoughtcrime' so they all think the same. If everyone thinks the same then everyone is the same. If everyone is the same they are able to be herded and milked of their lives by higher powers.

Interestingly enough, ancient Egypt, one of the most successful empires in history, apparently had a strong system of equality.

It’s easier for them to complain about a billboard featuring a normal-looking woman than it is to eat less and hit the treadmill a couple times a week. It’s not a thyroid problem, because that would only affect 2%-4% of women. I once worked in a restaurant just for a day and I’ll never forget the group of fatass women. I tried to see them just as any other customers, but these hogs ordered so many plates of food it was getting ridiculous – we’re talking large hamburgers, large chicken wraps, and large pizzas. Each of them ate some three full meals in one sitting. One of them even ordered a Diet Coke.

Maybe, but that doesn't mean much. It simply means that most of the people who comment think the complaints are stupid.

It could be that the average reader of that site is slim.
It could be that the average reader of that site has critical thinking abilities regardless of the shape they're in.
It could be a lot of things, but it doesn't necessarily represent a cross-section of the US as a whole.

Yeah, given the starting point, they'll end up looking like dropped ice cream cones.

From what I remember hearing my father and his mates talking about, the ideal measurements in the sixties were 36-22-36.

36-24-36 used to be considered the ideal measurements. I don't think it was an average anywhere because the average is never 'ideal'. It was something to aspire to and something to brag about.

There was another feature of their legal system that was quite interesting-- in some courts verbal arguments were forbidden because of their power to unduly persuade, so all arguments had to be in writing. I don't know enough about law to know if this is a good idea.

Also, people rented out land for farming 4000 years ago. The landlord biz is a good one.

In terms of upholdment of law, written agreements are far more useful than verbal agreements, since, once a verbal statement is made, that's it, it's gone and done. A written contract is a permanent record, that can be witnessed by those other than who were present at the time.

Basically, good if you had a written contract that said "I get 15 debens of gold because [..]," because you could prove that you were owed that amount, but bad if you were on the other end..
