Obviously they won't say anything. But I know what's in their head.

eg)
Do you go to gym just to work out on your own OR
Do you go to gym to check out other guys, show off your muscle, show off your strength and talk about other guys?

You are just working out on your own but these guys check you out. they smirk when you grab a light dumbbell or do something that doesn't meet their standards.
Whatever you work on, you feel these guys presence.

Of course, they won't SAY anything.
But you don't understand what's going on? you don't get bothered by those?

Seems to me that you get insecure when random strangers start judging you. This makes you self-conscious and more self-aware of your behavior and natural impulses, leading to unsure body language, incongruence etc.. To overcome this, you need to genuinely not give a rats arse about what some random stranger thinks about you. Of course its different for people who know you, people who care and well-wishers. Random strangers do not fall in that category.

I think genuinely not giving a shit about what other people think about you comes with age, maturity, and experience.

Think about it: when you're at some random night venue most the people judging you are random fuckups who wait tables at Applebee's and take the same community college course five times before they pass it. Do you really give a shit what they think?

I have one funny issue regarding approaches. I can hardly ever approach portuguese girls but with foreigners I become an approach maniac.

Same thing here, ahah[Image: smile.gif] Lisbon is too small a city for that unfortunately, too much known ppl around. In Porto or Algarve I become quite more open to try my luck with the Portuguese as well.
