If you are not big on the nighlife, want a charming costal andalusian town with a nice beach, 45 min from Malaga airport, you may want to check Nerja.

Marbella and Puerto Banus are the big tourist destinations in that part of the Coast. I spent a night in Malaga once when I arrived on a late flight and then went on to Marbella the next morning. It's OK to go out but I think it would get old pretty quickly and it seems to be mostly a Spanish scene. If I were looking for a rental property I would definitely consider Marbella and Puerto Banus (the St Tropez of Spain) as well. I think it's very seasonal there, so if you want to maximize your rental capability go for Puerto Banus. Lots of upscale Brits and others go there year round for golf, yachting and nightlife.
Both times I was there was in August and people told me that late June/July are the high season. Lots of groups of high end British girls, some random Scandinavians and Russians, spanish on vacation and a little bit of everything else.

Thanks JohnQ but to be honest Marbella is out of question, it is famous for being popular with rich arabs and mafiosi, many prostitutes go there to work with these arabs, gold diggers from all Europe also go there.

Andalucia isn’t high end but Marbella is overpriced and hyped up, not the kind of place I wanna be in.

I heard good feedbacks about Cadix but it would take time to get there from the Malaga airport.

@Rocha, Malaga is indeed a laid back city but only the old city is nice there, The beach is ugly and I am not sure about the rental potential, as mentioned by JohnQ, people stop there for 1 night then go to the other beach towns.

Cadix is in France, I suppose you mean Cádiz? Don't use Malaga airport to go there, Sevilla and especially Gibraltar airport are a lot closer. Cádiz probably has the best climate in mainland Spain. From Wikipedia: "Amongst any European city, Cádiz has the warmest winters. The annual sunshine hours of Cádiz are above 3000h, being one of the most sunny cities in Europe. Although summer nights are tropical in nature, daytime temperatures are comparatively subdued compared to nearby inland areas such as Jerez and the very hot far inland areas in Andalucia. Snowfall is unknown at least since the XIX century, being the least snowy place of Europe."
Also, rent is cheaper in Cádiz than Malaga, and way cheaper than Marbella / Puerto Banús. If you talk to locals, it's clear that rental prices have gone up considerably in Malaga the last 2-3 years. I saw a Spanish report in a FB group recently stating that of all the bigger cities in Spain, Malaga has the highest cost of living, compared to local salaries. But I'm guessing most people from this forum would not be living on a local salary.

I'd love to visit Cádiz, but I'm in Malaga right now. I'm not too crazy about it, it's féria right now and the city is quite dirty and smelly because of this. But even the days before, I didn't find it clean. I like the Marbella area better for that (but I'm quite sensible to that, especially for long(er) term living). IMO Valencia is a way more beautiful city than Malaga.

In my opinion, it's preferable to have a (rental) car to go around Marbella / Puerto Banús, which is not necessary in Malaga. Both Malaga and Marbella/Puerto Banús have heavy traffic during summer and it's hard to find a free parking spot. Especially in Marbella you will likely have to go in an underground parking garage every time and these are the most expensive garages in Spain. I've heard from several people around Marbella that it's quite dead November to April, which is not the case for Malaga. No Idea about Cádiz.

Between Malaga and Marbella/Puerto Banús, if you're staying between June-September, and women are your priority, I'd go for living close to the huge El Corte Inglés mall in Puerto Banús. There's air conditioning and everything from low-end to high-end clothing, electronics and restaurants. And there's sea of people in there, a lot of them tourists. And you're very close to the beach/bars/...
If you're on a budget, I can highly recommend you a beautiful mountain village only 10 minutes driving north of Marbella, called Ojén. It's very close to the huge La Cañada mall. You would need a car there, and likely a pad with a garage included, because the village has 2 big free parking lots, but the walk to most of village is short but steep.

Hey guys, anyone who's been in Malaga during autumn/winter? What's the temperatures like? I may be going there with a girl so I'm not so interested in game as much as having some things to do, sightseeing etc.

If it won't matter in 30 years, it doesn't matter now.

You spend your whole childhood seeing the sea waters of Spain, the beating heat - you end up there, and it turns out they're lucky to have 2 months a year or 'warm' sea water. That & the lack of relaxing / rural villages on the East Coast + Malaga coast kill the place for me. Andalucia has lots of nice small villages that'd be nice to smoke hash in, and if that could be replicated elsewhere in the country, with the benefit of amazing swimming holes - it would be the perfect place.

I go to Malaga at least once a year, and actually once for New Years Eve and it was like 15c, amazing weather considering its winter.

Its definitely low season, but if you're going with your girl you should be able to have enough things to do specially if you mainly want to relax spanish style aka drink cañas eat tapas and walk around town and some sightseeing.

Re: Malaga and gaming, the best time to go is for the Feria de Malaga every mid-August. I've gone for the last 3 years straight.

Trust me, I grew up in Spain - its very, very rare to see Spanish girls getting wasted and making out with strangers, but in the feria this shit actually happens.

Its a fun and 99% local experience to drink around town during the day, and then at night you go to the "casetas" in the feria part of town and you basically have like 30 huge pop-up tents/clubs to chose from, all filed with drunk and summer-tanned Andaluzas dressed to kill and ready to party.

Twin Turbo, since you grew up in Spain do you have any opinions on Cadiz or Sevilla for game? How are the local women in those cities?

I haven't spent too much time there, but you have much less "party tourism" there and more sightseeing / older people tourism. Sevilla is the biggest city in the south of Spain, and its a beautiful city but girls-wise I think it will be tough. As anywhere in Spain, people go out in big mixed groups and unless you are super social and speak Spanish you are not gonna get anywhere.

If you are rolling solo, in my experience your best shot in Spain to get laid is to focus on solo travelers and being super social.

If you are rolling with a group of friends, be social all day and night and try to become friends with a group of people. Eventually one of them is going to tell you which girl is into you, and from there you just need to escalate.

IMO Direct game does not work anywhere in Spain, specially in the south where social
circles are tight and reputation is very important.

If I had to choose between Sevila and Cadiz, hadnds down Sevilla will be more interesting. Cadiz and neighboring Jerez are worth day trips though, specially for the sherry wineries typical to the region.

Another idea if you have a car is to stay for a few days in a pueblo in Cadiz called Conil de la Frontera and drive to the nearby beaches which are probably the best in mainland Spain. In the summer people from all over the country come here and its quite fun, but bring your Spanish skills or go somewhere else.

I have arrived in Malaga this morning and will stay until Friday.

It was 20 degrees today and it felt like summer in the afternoon sun, so Im just amazed, by flying in from England, how this is even possible. The city itself seems quite nice, too. Had some really good tapas and beer for around 15 Euros. The old town is beautiful.

Game-wise, i tried to pipeline in Tinder and was appointed with a French 6 tonight, but she didnt respond anymore this morning, so it didnt happen. I had some relatively low quality matches which led to nothing and Im also through all tinder chics within 2-3 days, in a city of 600k people.

I have told myself to try some daygame tomorrow and hope that Ill stick to it. Havent done it for months or even years so I will face a massive approach anxiety.

Also, if anybody is around and up for some drinks tomorrow night, let me know.

I wish I was there, enjoying the sun, walking on the Malagueta and having some good tapas.Try to find an Erasmus party if you’re not too old for that crowd, plenty of euro students there. Some locals are super hot but good luck with them.

Hey all, great thread. I'm planning a trip to Europe this summer, and I'd like to hit Spain because I speak Spanish.

I'm down for tourists and everything -- I already have a flag from Spain, so I'm not dead set on hooking up with one. However, I do want to have the option -- I like the darker features and big asses on Spanish women, so I'd like to have both options.

Between Valencia and Malaga, which is better? Or should I do both?

I'm looking to stay for about a month. Black American, muscular, tall, I dress well enough. I'm also interested in the Spanish coastal cuisine (paella and whatnot).

A girl from Spain I hooked up with here in the US -- she said I should go to Cadiz, Valencia, AND Malaga. I'd rather rent an apartment for one month in one place, and make short-term trips to other spots if I get too bored. Not trying to do a week in each place.

Any suggestions? The trip would be in either June or July of this 2019. I'm mid-20s, down for Erasmus students, European tourists, locals, milfs, you name it. Again, I speak Spanish at an intermediate level. I got my Spanish flag entirely in Spanish, so I'm not afraid to tread off the beaten path and go to places that aren't tourist infested.

Any suggestions are welcome!

Anywhere in Costa del Sol is good on that time of the year. Benalmadema, Marbella, Torremolinos or Puerto Banus are full of both foreign and Spanish sluts. If it was another time of the year I would recommend Sevilla also, but is going to be hell with hot weather there, and many locals go south to the beaches.

If you go in June you will still find the Erasmus students in the cities, in July they might be gone. In both months there will be plenty of foreign female tourists, most go there for one or two weeks and if they aren't traveling with a partner then they should be down to have fun, mostly European chicks: French, Italian, Brits, Scandis, EE etc. Obviously, Spanish chicks will be everywhere. Some summer resort towns might have more foreigners than locals, though.

The whole Malaga province (Malaga is a province and also the capital of the province is named Malaga) is good fun, beaches everywhere, bars, clubs, chicks.
Cadiz is very nice too, some areas can get very windy and it might be more "Spanish" than Malaga, many people from other parts of Andalusia go to Cadiz on vacation.
I've only been to the city of Valencia, haven't been to the province of the same name, I like it a lot. It's quite affordable, the beach is nice and the nightlife is nuts.
From Malaga to Cadiz is 2 or 3 hours by car and from Malaga to Valencia a little longer, around 4 to 5. Malaga is in between Cadiz and Valencia.
To sum it up, IMO, these three cities/areas are among the best in Spain to party, have fun, get laid and go to the beach. The Canaries, the Balearic and Alicante are nice too.

Okay thanks for all the suggestions! Both Malaga and Valencia sound like they’renpoppin. i want a beach for daygame and clubs for nightgame. French and Italian tourists sound a lot more enticing when you add in that beach lifestyle. will probably do a week in both to see which one I like more. Looking for AirBnBs near the beach and near nightlife now — are places like Level and People mentioned on page 1 still poppin? No idea where to stay haha

Yeah man, the winters in Malaga are just incredible. very warm and sunny even.

As you have noticed, Tinder is very bad in Spain in general - specially during low tourist season.
Someone already mentioned Erasmus college hoes, I think that's the right area to focus on. Try to find the euro-students that are around.

Another option is Marbella, which you can't get by train I think but you can by bus.
Marbella is a hotspot for expats and wealthy people and all the service industry girls that come with it - definitely where I've seen the biggest concentration of hot girls in southern spain - and since they're foreign, easier targets. Logistics will be hard though, since its like 50km away.

I think Valencia has much more to offer as a city, and also in terms of girls. Plus the beaches right there are nicer there than in Malaga.

Malaga is nice too - but its just smaller and actually logistics are harder since a lot of holiday people stay in neighboring towns of Benalmadena and Torremolinos, which you need to train/bus too and the schedules are not 24h of course. I ended up taking a lot of Uber's and spending quite a lot of money on that

Of your list I've only been to Malaga. The nightlife is low key, but if you can speak Spanish it should be OK. Marbella/Puerto Banus are just an hour down the coast and that's like the high $$ party place. Lots of international tourists but also an army of hookers. If you'll be there in the beginning of July you should go to Pamplona for the Running of the Bulls for a couple of days. There's a thread on here about it. You definitely won't regret it. It's not far from San Sebastian which is a beach city on the North coast of Spain. San Sebastian has a beach and a nice Old Town with lots of tapas bars. It's easy to meet tourists to hang with. The big international student cities are Sevilla and Grenada. They're not at beaches but even in the summer there are still lots of people around.

I agree with JohnQPublic, San Sebastian is worth a visit. It's around 1 hour from Pamplona. The food is really good there. The weather can be a bit unpredictable because of the Atlantic ocean though.
If you're in that area you can also go to Biarritz in southern France, I really like the town and it's great for surfing.

I've been to Malaga about 8 years ago during the summer. I spent two days there which is not much, all I can say is that I wasn't impressed by the city. I also visited Costa del Sol on several occasions Benalmadena, Torremolinos, Fuengirola, Puerto Banus and Marbella... Plenty of horny euro girls during the summer especially Brits. The food is great, the weather is beautiful and the party is always on. As someone who enjoys swimming, the only pitfall for me in visiting that part of Spain was the beach; the Mediterranean Sea sucks for swimming. Hence, I was curious about that part of the Andalusian coast facing the Atlantic, Costa de la Luz. Can anyone recommend cities to visit? Are there any other destinations worth to visit besides Cadiz?

Out of curiosity, what is the problem about swimming in the mediterranean? I prefer to swimm there than in the Atlantic Coast, where there is more waves and the water temperature is colder... Costa de la Luz is all in the Atlantic, not so cold and with the waves of Western Portugal coast, but still...

I recommend Zahara de los Atunes and Punta Umbria for the beach, and small villages El Puerto de Santa Maria and Sanlucar de Barrameda are also nice. I have been also in Islantilla, Isla Canela and Isla Cristina all near Portugal border, you can even see the Portuguese side from the beach. Beaches are of good quality overall, but with a lot of clam shells in the sand. The respective villages are nothing to speak about though.

I prefer swimming in the Atlantic mainly because of the waves. I find it more enjoyable than the Mediterranean, which is to me a big swimming pool. Plus, there are more opportunities for me to hit some waves with my bodyboard. It's a matter of taste and to each his own I guess. Thanks for the recommendations.

I agree on Biarritz too. All of these places are definitely off the radar places for adventurous guys to check out.
