Is anyone here familiar with process piping drafting and design? I'm considering taking an accelerated 8 month program at a college in Canada and am wondering what the job market and work is like. It would be something like this one: http://www.sait.ca/programs-and-courses/...fast-track
Finding someone that knows how to work with pipe is difficult, so yes I would say good niche.
Pipe is a bitch to work with. Your skills would also cover the food industry which is all stainless pipe (prick to work with before it's even a pipe) and tube structures like hand rails on plant and mobile machinery.
