Smoking is back!

Latest issue of Esquire, Leonardo DiCaprio is holding a cig at the bottom of the pic along with his phone. Thanks Leo : )

Latest issue of Rolling Stone, Bruno Mars has a cig in his mouth dangling. Thanks Bruno : )

When men were men and smoked cigs and wore suits and did what they wanted when they wanted, women followed.

Maybe there's hope for America after all...time for a Vodka-Tonic with 2 limes to celebrate.

Vodka tonic? I am disappointed. Such a flawed drink, mate.

Why is smoking so hyped on this forum?

I also like an occasional, but I don't really feel any cool when taking a smoke.

In noway more women than men are smoking. So you don't really radiate masculinity.

pants for president, and i would have banned smoking.

Bruno Mars is not somebody I want to emulate, no matter how airbrushed and pretty he looks in his wife's blouse.

Cigarettes were designed for women to smoke, because cigars are too much for them.

I think cigars are cool, but I don't see the appeal of cigarettes. You end up smoking too many, and every day. It becomes expensive and unhealthy.

Clearly you lads are young and are not getting the overall point I'm making here, re: America and it's current feminist driven, socialist bent direction and how this is a refreshing glimpse that maybe we can recover and right ourselves.

I'll have a smoke while you guys ponder that.

Unfortunately those two are both smoking factory rolled smokes. Fuck giving money to Marlboro and Camel. Buy a tin of Drum or American Spirit and roll cigarettes yourself like a man. Also, the inability to roll a smoke is a great indicator of when you have had too much to drink.

Smoking is real fucking cool. I'll die from cancer from it and can't stop. Go ahead and be "cool" and pick up a pack.

Most of my russian GFs enjoy to take a puff on my cigars.

There is no question smoking is bad for you. But the smoking areas are prime socializing areas for night-life.

Just yesterday, walked up to 2-3 groups of girls w/a "do you have a light?". I slipped into their groups like butter, then you just stick around and spit a few side-lines- a couple quips, some jokes, or chime in w a little compliment ( cute dimples!).

Social dynamic tip- If its a group of 2 girls and a pack of dudes- side up to 1 of the girls, and let the pack (3-4 guys) struggle for 1 girl. This will make her uncomfortable, and you can bounce both girls inside to the bar.

WIA- For most of men, our time being masters of our own fate, kings in our own castles is short. Even those of us in the game will eventually succumb to ease of servitude rather than deal with the malaise of solitude

I've been smoking since I was ten, daily smoker since twelve. I'm currently on about two packs a day here in Asia, the shit that I'm hacking up and spitting out is down right disgusting, but I have opened girls and been opened with the old "do you have a light" trick, so in the end, I think its worth it. Whats worse guys, missing out on potential lays or emphysema? I'll take the pussy and worry about disease and illness when that time comes.

I just wish more places would introduce smoking sections or have designated areas inside for smokers. I feel like a leper going out every time I need a smoke.

I've never smoked a cigarette in my life, though I'll puff a cigar from time to time. Thing is, I think smoking does look cool. And I can see it being a good opener as G Manifesto has pointed out. And it does give you something to do with your hands. At the same time, I hate the smell of cigarettes with a passion(cigars smell aromatic though). It gives me an instant headache even being around them and the smell gets in my clothes. I try to keep a distance from people when they are smoking. Most of all though, I don't want to deal with the health consequences:

Probably an easy answer for those not addicted to nicotine.

It makes your breath smell gross...the stench gets caught in your clothes...and worst of all it gives you lung cancer and/or a multitude of other health problems. Both of my grandparents who smoked spent the last 2 decades of their life walking around with oxygen tanks/respirators and died slow painful deaths.

Don't see the appeal.

I honestly wish I could say the same, that I never smoked a cigarette in my life.

The ill effects of smoking are over-hyped and the result of the sedimentary lifestyle and awful nutrition of people. When I was smoking a pack a day, I was also running 30 miles a week. I can out run, out lift and out fight most teetotalers.

Smoking's back in style because it's not hard to do and people seem to associate an image with it.

Sort of like atheism.

“I have a very simple rule when it comes to management: hire the best people from your competitors, pay them more than they were earning, and give them bonuses and incentives based on their performance. That’s how you build a first-class operation.”

The blackened lungs pictures are a myth. If you autopsy a smoker, even an old geezer, you can cut their lungs open and find regular pink tissue like you would expect. A smoker who happens to be an organ donor can even donate his lungs and they're perfectly admissible.

That being said, smoking is cool because TV Tropes says so
