Yeah, who eats waffles with french fries? Also that girl on the right's attire is unacceptable. The phone presence was actually not one of the first things I noticed in that picture.

I see three people dressed as dudes ready to eat imaginary french fries.

Looks more like 3 schmucks in a Denny's Diner in middle america in a shopping plaza. Just cuz there's an OJ doesn't mean it's brunch. Brunch to me is an entirely different thing.

Read it on the plane and thought it was really good. It encapsulated everything about the crazy Fbook culture that pervades a lot of the West these days. I even see guys guilty of it sometimes. So many people are just attention-seeking whores who need constant validation. I guess it's a big part of "Millennial" culture so it's not going away at least with the younger crowd.

Sadly, as we all know I think about half the women in American if they read the story would not get the sarcasm but rather think it's really cool and that's the kind of girl they seek to be each and every day!

That was a great story.

I hooked up with POF chick last weekend. We're in her car making out, her phone is in the pocket of her sweatshirt. Every 20 seconds the thing vibrated, no exaggeration. This went on for almost half an hour and I found it funny, weird, and sort of amazing but ultimately just bizarre.

How many people were texting/emailing/messaging this chick? If that were my phone it would drive me up a wall but this is pretty much every girl now. Then I saw Roosh's article this week and it was like, yeah, this has suddenly gone to another level.

Where I'm working right now I overlook a busy parking lot. At one point yesterday I see four chicks sitting in their cars all texting away, same body position, same intense look on their faces.

It's like rats pushing the pleasure button over and over and there's no getting away from it. Time to revisit the cell phone jammer thread!

I'm gonna roll around with that cell phone jammer device in high traffic areas and study the reactions of chicks when they realize their vibrating validation trains got derailed.

That was a great story because it is absolutely true. I see that shit everywhere. I am 40, and even the married chicks my age are throwing this shit up on FB continually. I am done with it. I have other shit to do that is far more interesting than a stupid phone.

Gee, I can't decide if I want banana pancakes or sustainably sourced oatmeal with soymilk and raisins (golden raisins, the other raisins are common, they're for proles who have to work for a living, golden raisins are for important people of leisure like me.)

Oh look, they have brioche french toast, because french toast made with regular bread is too boring for me to handle.

Keep the bottomless mimosas coming.

Brunch = SWPL paradise.

bottomless mimosas = cheap champagne and sh*tty orange juice.

I'll pass.

Great article Roosh, I have to go on the site more often as I log on directly to RVF and miss out on these gems. I bought my first smart phone three weeks ago (Iphone 4S, 2nd hand) and its already turning me into a zombie.

I haven't dated much in North America over the past three years and have yet to encounter a Patricia type, I wasn't aware that its so bad there now!

I have to give Roosh props on a really good article. He really brought that topic to life in a way that was emotionally-engaging as I could feel myself becoming angry as I read as it I recall real-life situations dealing with smartphone addicts. No doubt that was one of his top 10 pieces. He's become quite a talented writer.

You have no idea. It will only get worse. The validation that men used to provide has been replaced with a smartphone for a lot of women. Women are about feeling wanted and guess what, 320 likes looks a lot better than one.

There are some women that don't need this validation but this is a virus that is spreading quickly. The smartphone will be the killer of monogamy in women. They will never be able to stay with one guy because they will be always thinking of their 920 followers that are better looking.

If we players had 300 girls liking every single thing we uploaded then we wouldn't be call players. We will be call WOMEN.

Sounds like more of an American thing. The Canadian girls where I am from arent like this but I assume Toronto girls are as Roosh describes. No girl has touched her phone unless she or I went to the bathroom on a 1 on 1 date with me in the past 2 years.

We have no one else to blame but ourselves for this. If us men didn't tolerate this type of behavior, then it wouldn't exist.

The girls I have on rotation know better than to use their phones when hanging out with me.

At first, you can't really call a girl out for using her phone because more than likely she will not care. I just give them a look of disappointment and tell them "having fun". But after the bang I just tell them "Do that again".

I think that you may be onto something here with that observation, I always assumed that Canadian girls were very similar to American girls besides the accent and a more polite manner. I've never had terrible experiences with Canadian girls that left me jaded and wanting to give up on the dating scene back home, I thought that the guys bitching about American women were just a bunch of whiners. Then I read Tuth's article on ROK about his experience with Canadian girl and it left me scratching my head.

I finally was convinced that there are some striking differences between Canuck and Yank women when I was out with a group of travelers at a restaurant in the Philippines about a month ago, there were four American girls from NYC, two Canadian girls and two German girls and about five guys. The American girls were definitely louder, more aggressive and expressed stronger opinions, one of them made an ass out of her self by getting into an argument with an Irish guy and he promptly made her look like an idiot, which she was.

Canadian women and American women, as they say in Thailand, are same same but different.

I'd take her out to restaurants, and she's constantly texting and playing Words with Friends. Even at home, she has to keep running outside to talk on the phone because her friends have "problems".

One time when we took the children out to dinner, her friend had a "problem" and she had to run outside. We ended up getting her meal boxed.

Don't take this wrong, but can I ask, why do you believe her? Isn't this how women act when they're talking to some other guy?

When women make excuses, i tend to assume it's a lie.

And the article is good with telling details, but also comes under the heading of the all important dictum/warning, "Against stupidity, the gods themselves struggle in vain." - Goethe

No interest in Ayahuasca journey? Chick is plain dumb. I think I'm required here to declare all women are, but don't really believe it. However, most are.

He should take the "I" out of a mainly third person narrative though. It kind of jumped onto the page out of nowhere in the middle of the piece and felt weird.
