Southern US, go or no?

True, but its not really a college town, more like New Orleans but more hip and less spill-beer-on-your shoes. Of course, its got its honky tonks still, like Tootsie's Orchid Lounge.

I really enjoyed Nashville, but I stayed away from Broadway (tourists) and East Nashville (hipsters; country music is nonexistent there).

Atlanta in comparison, I wouldn't even call it southern. Its very metropolitan and full of transplants who don't really care about southern culture. Based on what people have described about DC, its essentially a DC with nicer (but not hotter) white American girls, more black girls and black cultural influence, and less foreign girls, though this is changing and they're a very common sight in the city nowadays.

I've heard similar things about Atlanta and just a lot of Georgia in general. From my experience in NYC which draws tons of fresh out of college girls from across the country, I noticed that Atlanta girls and Georgia girls in general were very status hungry and stuck in the high school popularity contest mode well after college. Tons of them would be taking 50+ selfies and trying to accumulate Instagram followers at every turn.

This is a post taken from another thread about girls in the south after having talked to a friend of mines about southern women.

I also want to pass through the south one day, great weather and great food along with some cool people. Talked an older friend of mines a few hours ago who is a southerner and here is what he told me about the different states and their women. This is a huge generalization so take it with a grain of salt I guess.

1. South Carolina has the most approachable women and friendliest people.

Most approachable, friendly, cool and easy to get along with. I stayed in Charleston before and wish I had the game back then because there were so many girls who would just smile at you and invite you to approach them. Even in NYC I've had great experiences with the few SC girls I've run into who moved there after college. They seemed to be good looking in a more natural way instead of a flashy club girl kind of way.

2. Florida girls are sexy and approachable but kind of crazy.

Told me that it probably has the sexiest women in the country and they're approachable too but they're crazy. Big party animals, into drugs and just looking for their next high. The way he put it, ONS material but not exactly wife material. I agree with him about the quality of girls in that state, it probably the hottest girls in the entire country. As for my experiences, I have found Florida girls to be real social and outgoing, been approached them a few times too and they seem friendly but they do seem wild too.

3. If you go the LTR route, make sure she is from Tennessee...

If you're looking for a wife, make sure she is from Tennessee, apparently that is the state that breeds a lot of wife material. I've had a great experience with Tennessee girls and found them to be friendly when I approached them too. Even when I got rejected by one at a bar a year ago, she was real friendly about it and did it in a very calm way.

4. Not too many good things to say about Georgia girls but he was talking about Atlanta.

I was a bit thrown off by this because I've had decent experiences with Georgia girls but looking back at it, none of them were from Atlanta. Said it is gold digger central, everyone tries real hard to be cool and the girls tend to be a bit sketchy, a lot of bad things to say about their personalities in general. Said they seem to be stuck in the high school stage of life and want to desperately be cool and popular. Told me to be weary of what you say around them, a lot of the crazy feminazi types even though it is a southern city.

5. Texas girls are great but have strong personalities.

Texas girls tend to be alpha females from the way he put it, said they have nice bodies and are probably runner up to Florida girls when it comes to looks. Will say whatever is on their minds and tend to be a lot more forward than your typical American woman. I've personally had the best experience with Texas girls and like them so I found it hard to disagree with him on much of anything there.

I've been trying to hit up a big college football game and some university town down South before I become an old man. Any good ones worth going to down South?

Alabama is the best team there so I would recommend any of their big rivalry games, usually against LSU or Auburn.

I'm told the eye candy at Ole Miss is not to be missed, esp in the Grove,

If youve never been, I would recommend a game in September, when its warmer and toward the beginning of the season/school year. I prefer women who wear sundresses to parkas.

A lot of these schools are in small towns and lodgings are the real problem. There is usually a big city within 1-3 hours drive, so get your hotel then book the flights. Tickets are available on the resale market, like StubHub. If you buy now you'll pay through the nose. A top school like Bama the tickets go for quite a premium. Georgia is likely to have a good season and tickets shouldn't be that bad. Driveable from Atlanta, which is a major airport, although traffic on game days is nuts. Clemson is another good one, about 2 hours from Atlanta, closer to Greenville Spartanburg airport. Their fans are very cool, they treated me well even though I was wearing their opponent's colors.

So what is the deal with Mississippi?

Why is it a place to avoid?

I've been meaning to make a "Biloxi, Mississippi datasheet" and at least speaking from that area it sucks pretty hard when you have New Orleans a hour and a half away to the west and Panama city 2 hours to the east. Sure, you can pull there but the quality of girls are not that great. There is a military training base with about 2,500 men, right out of boot camp willing to screw anything that moves, most of them are ages 18-28 and they hit on anything and everything, so any girl there has her ego inflated like crazy pretty damned quick. When I stop being lazy I'll submit a Biloxi datasheet.

Savannah, Georgia and Hinesville, Georgia have the same problem being next to military bases. Also, parking in Savannah is atrocious - recommend using and gaming on public transportation on big St. Patrick's Day like holidays.

How does game play change in the Southern US once you hit the 50's? Assuming pretty good shape and financially secure.

This weekend I was at a stripper clothing store buying a school girl costume for a 26-year old who wants to dress up for me. Saw an early 20s blonde and her friend shopping for T-backs. Not remarkable, except that the blonde was wearing a sorority T-shirt. These girls aren't as impossible as you think. They are just subject to tremendous peer pressure so you have to create plausible deniability for them and a way for them to be discrete.
