Without a doubt. It was my favorite era of music.
The 90s was the transition decade from when music was written by actual artists who had made it to the top on the most part due to their talent, to a culture of Pop Idol and reality TV where "anyone can have a go".... and then become hugely rich off the back of selling total crap "product" to a dumbed-down audience.
The music we have now is... obscene.
