yeah that article is true to an extent like there is no need for me to be watching the two remaining games for Liverpool, but at the same time i got introduced to roosh v through a link posted in the off topic LFC forum, it stated 'all you need to know about women is right here". and now am here.

Which forum is that?

This article is useful.

The majority of players in the England under 15 team - never even become professionals.

Whereas the majority of players in the England under 18 team either are already professionals. Or will soon become professionals.

http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/blog/...er-18-1993

[edit] Even the majority of under-18s for England struggle to make it as pros. Whereas under-21s for England are already on the path to being a superstar - or carving out a career in football. Alot can happen in three years as puerty finishes off its 'cooking'.

Yeah, it really is unpredictable. A few of the guys at my school thought that they would be professional rugby players by the time they left school, and our coach would remind them that it's nothing to count on. He said that he coached the under 18 England captain, a dead cert for fame if there ever was one, but he drifted off the radar and five years later now works at Morrisons.

Seems Rooney is leaving. I haven't been following this story - was there media coverage of this a couple of weeks ago?

Thoughts on this article?

http://www.returnofkings.com/10506/stop-watching-sports

Personally, I think it's a load of shite and is trying to say "hey, hey, look how red pill I am!"

To a certain degree he's right, why waste your whole weekend revolved around sports when you can do other productive stuff? But some people are happy in that existence and being around their mates while it's on, and they don't know any better. Men have been doing it for hundreds of years.

I met Bojangles because of football and he got me into the red pill life, so if I never watched sports I most likely wouldn't be here now.

Seriously, is it going to get to the point where you're shamed in the manosphere if you're not either hitting on girls or hitting the gym? I've watched football my whole life, I'm not going to change that now. I watch less than I used to, in fact only exclusive to Liverpool matches and the occasional Atletico Madrid match, but that's it. It doesn't get in the way of the rest of my life.

Hell, I see watching different football leagues as a positive for an international playboy. Want to look for 2nd-3rd tier cities with the possibility of it being a poosy paradise?-- Look at the teams in the mid to low positions on the table of a top league. I'm sure everyone on this board has heard of Rome, Paris, and Madrid; but who knows much about Palermo, Brest, or Vigo?

Read that yesterday, Bayern don't want him that is for sure. I thought there was a rumour before about him going to PSG, guess not.
Been reading about the Moyes situation, alot of people are unhappy about him going to Utd. He signed a 6 year deal which seems a bit too long, I think he will be lucky to last 3 years.

There wasnt really any serious media coverage, it was mainly speculation that Man United would sell Rooney and buy Lewandowski. That said the balance of power seems to have shifted as most of the articles I read were about Ferguson wanting to sell/ offer him a very cheap contract and Rooney wanting to stay, whereas now the club is trying to persuade him to stay.

There was praise for Gary Neville's work as a pundit earlier. Well - I always knew he would make a great pundut after seeing the impressive way he handled himself in the following prank. He doesn't take shit from anybody - unlike most players who still have the personality of a 12 year old...

Moyes won't last long, he'll be the fall guy from the aftermath of Fergie's tenure.

Fergie personally selected him, and I think they're quite close. Why would Fergie personally select someone he thinks is going to fail? Have a look at this article, let me know what you think.

I bet Martinez, Fat Sam and their little brigade off ass lickers are well upset. Fat Sam was cosying up to Ferguson for years expecting the job when he retired.

You're forgetting the amount of work Ferguson put in in regards to the managers union etc He helped a lot of managers out behind the scenes, stuck up for them when they got sacked etc.

I can't read Martin Samuel, the guy is an idiot. Look at this for example:

Career men: The likes of Ancelotti (left) and Mourinho change jobs on a regular basis

Ancelotti, who was at Milan from 2001-2009 and won everything there was to be won with the club, then went to Chelsea and won the league and FA Cup, then GOT SACKED because it's Chelsea, and has been at PSG since (2 years).

Football journalism in this country is lazy as fuck, agenda driven and a load of bollocks.

Random footie fact: Just saw Mario Balotelli driving down the Promenade De Anglais in Nice in a dark green Bentley sport. I pulled up at the lights and next to me with his window down was Mario. I was going to shout out "why always me" but the lights changed.

Haha yeah and I bet in Fat Sam's brain he thinks he actually deserves the job.

I remember when he was at Bolton saying the only reason he played that long ball shite was because of the players at his disposal. Then he went to Newcastle and produced the same garbage. Deluded fool.

Fergie personally recommended Alex Mcleish to Randy Lerner.

Sir Matt Busby personally recommended Wilf McGuinness to be his successor, I'm sure you know how well that went.

I remember a post on RAWK before the FA Cup semi final against Everton last year (I think it was Juan Loco actually) and he said that he was 100% positive that we were gonna win it. He said David Moyes is too defensive and too scared to attack, and that even if we were losing 1-0 at half time he'd be sitting back in his chair with a beer, a spliff and his feet up knowing that we'd win it in the second half because Everton would be sitting back trying to soak up pressure and let us go at them.

Sure enough, we were losing 1-0 at half time, and he remained calm in the half time match thread. Then we won 2-1.

Sums Moyes up perfectly.

Fair one about McGuiness, however I don't think Fergie would have Aston Villa's interests at heart in the same way as this time round. People are saying "Moyes hasn't won a trophy", Fergie wouldn't have won a trophy with Everton either. Possibly a cup, but the league positions are more important to them. For Moyes to come fourth with Everton in '05 is pretty remarkable.

Furthermore, who else would you have appointed? That's not a question to you, it was the question I put to my mate. I mean, Guardiola hadn't won a trophy, neither had Wenger (maybe one in Japan?) or Klopp.

I honestly expect the truth to finally come out that Moyes is overrated. For far too long I've had to listen to my Evertonian mates argue the only reason they won fuck all under moyes is because of lack of money. However during Moyes time in charge of Everton teams with less money such as Portsmouth, Birmingham and Swansea have all won silverware.

I am really excited about next season, this is exactly what the Prem needed. For too long it has been owned by United and now the other teams must realize this is their time to close the gap. I certainly hope the Gunners try and capitalize on this, although WE need to do a household clean-up of our squad.
Moyes is competent but he ain't no Sir Alex, the big thing is that foreign players are not going to come play for him as they would have come in the past. Giggs and Scholes will probably call it quits after next season, the team in general is getting a bit old.

Ferguson would've won a trophy at whatever club he went to. He's a winner. The only reason Moyes hasn't won a trophy is because he is a loser, plain and simple.

Yeah bit of a strange one by united, I mean he brings stability but thats about it really. One top 4 finish in 10 seasons isnt too much to write home about. I dont think he will last long, maybe just warming the seat up for Gary Neville to come in who by all accounts looks like he is going to be an outstanding manager.
