Messi is the greatest ever. Maradona taking 'shit' teams to titles is a myth. Cristiano Ronaldo is definitely up there in the greats. Both he and Messi have played against club sides that would shit on every single World Cup winning team before 2006. Barcelona would be a nothing club without Messi. They had won 1 European cup before he arrived. That's nothing, that's the same as Red Star Belgrade and Steau Bucharest. Now they are mentioned as one of the great European teams. Ronaldo won 4 European Cups at just Real Madrid.

Looking forward to the premier league title race, Liverpool travel to Wembley to face Spurs. That should be a big test of their credentials. Man Utd will still be there and thereabouts despite Mourinho seeming to implode, we'll see if the third season slump comes to the fore. City will be City though without De Bruyne and Leroy Sane seemingly having problems it will be interesting.

Really thought Atletico would be big picks for a La Liga or Champions League win, they strengthened their team very well in the summer, much better than Barca or Real. However they've started awfully whilst the other 2 are romping away at the top.

Was disappointing we didn't score 5/6, Salah and Mane are making lots of bad decisions right now and their finishing is a bit off, it'll get better as the season rolls on, hopefully Firmino is ok. Hazard was superb for Chelsea today too and Man City rolled over Fulham pretty easily. Champions League this week, PSG up for the reds.

In the 1986-1987 champion team, yeah, Maradona was the game changer for Napoli, though there was also other established Italian international players in the team like Carnevale, Giordano, De Napoli, Bugni and the youngster Ciro Ferrara. The Argentine club sides dominated the Libertadores in the 1980s. Bilardo set up the side to maximise the talents of Valdano, Maradona and Burruchaga. Repeating it in 1990 for the newer younger players like Caniggia. All Argentine coaches that have followed have failed to do this.

But the return leg at Anfield makes shit difficult for opposition teams, Fowler scored an early goal and Mark Wright then scored a header leading to a last 10 minutes of bombarding their goal. Lama was superb in goal for them.

Will be also interesting to see how Tottenham do against Inter, both teams have had lackluster starts to the season, Mauro Icardi and Harry Kane both going through a sort of dry patch in terms of performances. Monaco Atletico should be interesting too as both teams are going through the same as the former two sides. Bad starts to the season.

I would not be surprised if Liverpool made it all the way to the final this year too. Klopp is a genius and this year I think Liverpool is stronger than last year.

Inter is a fucking joke, I expect the Spurs to tear them apart. Also Inter will be playing with a weird 3-4-2-1 today and Politano has never played in that role, Radja is still adjusting and Icardi hides in important games.

I hope Monaco beats Atletico and that little pissant Griezmann. I don't particularly like Sergio Ramos but I agree with what he said recently about him.

Well Inter really did a shock by those 2 late goals, Icardi's strike was magnificent, it was his only shot in the game, his conversion ratio is ridiculous, its close to 30% from what I say, no one else in Europe comes close. Spurs are in some trouble right now.

Atletico it seems beat Monaco easily after going behind, Diego Costa is a hell of a player when he gets going.

PSG were dominated by Liverpool, should have been a bigger scoreline (same story in most of Liverpool's games this season, front 3 has not yet clicked which is quite ominous for everyone else) they were lucky in being given the first goal (cavani was offside), salah made a bad mistake for their second but in the second half they were insipid and did nothing bar that goal. Napoli drawing with Red Star is hilarious as it means if Liverpool beat Napoli in the next game, they just need to pick up 4 points agaist Red Star to go through.

They've been in a mess since Fergie left, as he ran the club like a dictator — therefore when he left there was really more than one job to fill, yet they've only filled (and re-filled) one. There needs to be football people making executive football decisions, Woodward isn't qualified for the job. If you being Zidane in, he'll want to buy a load of players and the cycle continues. There needs to be continuity, and bringing in an experienced Director of Football who understands United and the tradition is required. Edwin Van Der Sar would have been good, but he's ruled himself out.

Mourinho's record speaks for itself, but he's not the youthful 'sprint down the touchline' charismatic upstart anymore, he's dour and perhaps tactically outdated. Pogba should be sold, he's a bad influence. We also need one (maybe even two) absolutely top class centre back, and a proper right winger (Tommy Robinson, badum tish) / inside forward. Sanchez is the worst buy we've ever made as it stands! I don't particularly like Lukaku to be honest, he's not bad at all but he isn't 'United' in my mind. He's a typical Mourinho player. I actually quite like us losing since it simply speeds up the process that needs to take place. Destroy to rebuild... I sound like a commie.

A 4-4-2 diamond with Lukaku and Martial up front isn't bad. We sort of played that yesterday, but perhaps the turmoil inside the team is really affecting performances. I don't know why Mou played Young instead of Dalot either. Dalot and Shaw are both excellent on the right day, and fullbacks are really important in the modern game.

The Glazers won't sack Mourinho until it's mathematically impossible to miss out on top 4. It doesn't fit their style. Of course, things can change, but I'd be surprised if he got the boot before the end of the season.
