Jury Duty

I was not selected because I had bad experiences with police officers in the past when the prosecution asked about those. I probably gave the impression that I don't trust police officers. Which is pretty much true.. The way they asked the questions was pretty illogical anyway. I followed that case for a while. Dude was guilty of murder and I would have found him guilty myself. The case was very similar to Will Smith the new Orleans Saints player that was killed recently. He is still trying to appeal last I checked. He had the stupidest lawyer I ever saw.

1 John 4:20 - If anyone says, I love God, and hates (detests, abominates) his brother [in Christ], he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, Whom he has not seen.

Jury Duty

I got called for Jury Duty and had to appear at the court house. The room was full of about 75-100 perspective jurors. The Judge entered the room and explained that the case was an asbestos law suit against a company. The Judge further explained that these types of cases involve a lot of evidence and witnesses and could drag on for a couple weeks. You could hear the moans of everyone in the room. The Judge then said, he would hear excuses of anyone who could not serve for this case. Half the room, including me, got up and formed a line to state their claim to the judge. When it was my turn, I told the judge that I was scheduled to go away on vacation during the time of this case(which was true). The Judge simply asked if I booked my flight and hotel reservations yet? to which I answered yes. The Judge told me to enjoy my trip and that I was dismissed. Even though I had proof, the court never asked for any type of verification.
