Can you get raw goats milk?

I like to boil 12 eggs and just eat the whites but that can get expensive.

I've also thrown a can of tuna in the blender before.

Alternatives to Whey Protein Powder

Humapro? Just started on this thing. Apparently 25g of protein per serving, no calories. I got the pill form.

If it has protein it has calories (4 calories/gram) so that serving would be 100 calories at least (assuming there is nothing else in it)

To the OP:

why do you want a protein powder specifically?

to me taking protein powder gives the benefits of: cheapness, ease (of digestion and preparation) and variations in flavours (get to drink something sweet).

That being said, why don't you just cook a bit of extra meat with a meal, eat some beef jerky, a can of tuna, quinoa instead of rice etc.

a scoop of whey only has ~20-25g of protein. that is easily obtainable from whole foods that don't make you feel bad like whey does.

That's what I thought, until I read about it. Not sure what the hell they do, or if it even works, but I thought might as well try it out.

I don't believe all they say, but if you take their word for it, basically humapro is the greatest form of protein known to mankind: http://humapro.com/about-huma-pro/

^ I've added some muscle recently, but I'm also eating a lot more and doing crossfit which incorporates a lot of heavy lifting, so it will be hard to say. But I will say I do look bigger.

Just got analyzed on Tuesday actually, 160lbs 15% bodyfat. I'll try to do that again in a month to see where I'm at.

You ever look into liquid protein?

I ditched protein powder shakes a long time ago and haven't looked back since. Started with Isopure liquid protein, then about a year and a half ago switched to New Whey.

These are the stats for New Whey:
• comes in 3.8 oz tubes of 42 grams
• lactose free, gluten free, caffeine free
• zero fat, zero sugars, 2 grams of carbs per tube/serving
• has collagen protein isolate, casein protein isolate and whey protein isolate
• comes in watermelon, grape, acai, green apple, raspberry and fruit punch flavors

Their website is http://www.newwhey.com

Here's a couple of links to order online:

True, but, I like protein powder because its easier to digest. I don't always like to stuff myself with more eggs, chicken, and steak.

Assuming its a decent quality powder. Some of these powders are garbage and come from cows that look like they have Aids.

For breakfast, I just had a shake with milk, bananas, walnuts, oatmeal, honey, and protein.

Pretty much for convenience. Also, I think I can consume more calories and proteins if they are in liquid form. Still want to gain a little bit more weight before moving to maintenance.

I stopped using whey a few months ago, it made me bloated and had me feeling like shit. I use beef protein isolate as of right now http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/muscle...ivor.html. Though when I can get my hands on raw cow/goat milk i'll have a liter of that post work out with two baked potatos.

I often eat a lb of chicken breast or more everyday. Man the fuck up. You don't even need to get all your protein from chicken. Get some Greek Yogurt, lentils, or Kashi cereal.

Getting enough protein isnt hard you just have to make the right food choices and eat enough of them

proper food is the best protein source. seen a lot of people rely on shakes as a meal replacement which in the end does you no good long term.
having said that, anyone here using Hemp protein who could give some feedback? I read a few articles where they said that it is not absorbed as well
as other powders and then there is a lot of marketing BS in between..

500g is insane but Jay Cutler eats 500g of protein a day but I doubt anyone on here is even close to him
