It'd 3 Stooges type of humor.

Not really evidence of cultural decay per se. There's always been that slapstick type of comedy.

I chuckled but didn't think it was funny enough to watch the whole thing.

I can't even compare 3-stooges to this gay stuff.

Satire of nature?

This whole video shows just how alienated from nature the modern "man" has become on many many levels.

I admit this video caused me to smile, but not laughter and my disgust was greater then fun. Guilty and degrading pleasure.

I just now watched that vid. Funny, that restaurant is about 5 minutes east of me. Good beer selection but the food is run-of-the mill greaseball "gastropub", whatever the fuck that means anymore. Cute Korean girls hang out there though.

I hope nobody on here is to "alpha" or cool to laugh at something funny. The clip just seemed lame like something females would find hilarious. This is something simple and stupid which is usually the funniest shit to me.

Man yall need something better to hate on than this. The forum is drinking too much haterade lately imo. Everything sucks, nothing's alpha enough, boo hoo feminism. That ain't alpha. Any little girl can tear shit down and complain about every little thing. It takes a man to build, create. What did you do today?

Guys in the YT video got 28 mil views on an original video short posted not 6 days ago. How many views you got? How many people you make smile with a video? Everyone's a comedy genius up in here, apparently. Where's your video? I'll watch it, maybe even subscribe. Hell, I might even share it with a friend.

BTW did you guys hear about the latest article by the girl who said the mean thing about the one guy? Outrageous! We should sue!

Did you help produce that lame video or something? You really sound offended. Wait, am I hating on you now?

See, now that was pretty funny.

Dissing Fedoras and Guy Fieri in on fell swoop (so to speak)?

That gets an A from me.

I can honestly say that I haven't produced anything as successful as that video in the past 7 days. How about you?

I'm noticing a lot more negative than positive around here. It's hard not to get sucked into it too (and I have), but it's weak shit and gets you nowhere. The world is 99% critics and 1% ass kickers, and I know which side being angry at the internet and belittling the efforts of others put me on.

I guess at some point you got to decide if you want to be part of a "movement" and be an "activist", feigning outrage and scoffing at anything perceived to be against the agenda, or if you want to just take what you want in life, fuck everything else, and help other winners do the same.

Yes, that's quite a soapbox over a YT video, but seeing all the hate in reaction to it got me thinking about how much hate I've been seeing in general. Has it always been there? Maybe it's just my perspective that's been changing.

Hey thanks for sharing that.

I'm confused if OP was trying to make some point vis a vis men & the title of the post or saying the video was trying to make men look dumb on purpose and this is how men are in the future or what.

Pretty relieved I did not find that funny and was expecting everyone to rail on it. Surprised some people think it is funny. Interesting. Made me feel a bit gay. No boner.

Either way, nice you can make it on YT.

Lifting videos to get the gay off. Only 100K views sorry.

I cracked a smile here n there. Not my kind of humor but that's fine. Props to them getting that many views in such a short period. I don't know how the revenue system works with Youtube but I'm sure it's helping their pockets. So again, props....

Idiocracy was showing where United States is heading if the current state of how society functions (almost everyone praising Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, etc) continues.

It is not a comedy but a parody of the future of America.

And it was very smart, but it offended probably a lot of americans.

Well, in Eastern Europe is one of the most loved movies ever... [Image: smile.gif]

And this youtube video that got 23 millions views in less than 96 hours,
reminded me a lot of "Idiocracy"
Was that an attempt at trying to be slick? That's funny if they love it because we all know the reason why. Hate Americans so much yet watch our movies, listen to our music, don't shut up about us.
Their inferiority complex is about as subtle as a kick in the teeth. It's so painfully obvious. I've met some Canadians like this too.

Goog pays a combination of pennies per 1000 views "CPM" and 60%+/- of each click as clicks CTR or click through are where Goog make 97% of their advertising revenue - 56,066,862 views 639,833 Likes Thumbs Up 15,621 Thumbs Down not a bad ratio - And what ad showed when I viewed = SAMSUNG so figure 1 cent per 1,000 views at least and 60% of $1 per click or 60 cents even if only one of every 1000 views clicks by accident that is 56K for views 30K for clicks or $86K+/- and I am being conservative on the clicks at one per 1,000 views this is why the viral repeat viewer sites like HotForWords by a real Russian Chick and RealRussian though a fake American guy "acting" Russian at over 500 Million views each are such cash cows - they entice the Smartphone YouTube demographic of 15 to 35 yr olds that Advertisers are willing to pay $1 a click or more for - actually very hard to bid just a Dollar any more on high value key words unless you are a huge Google Corp advertiser like the Cellular phone and Mobile providers and negotiate a volume discount direct with Google corp sales dept.

Beta dumb video = equals real Alpha money ($86K+/-) in less than one Month - kind of money that would allow any RVF reader to buy all the Bang books and tour every spot mentioned for a year with 3 months in Moscow tossed in as the icing on the cake. Just saying this is a hipster franchise to expand upon... shoot your losers and let your winners run type of investment philosophy.

Huh. Looks like I'm in complete disagreement with a lot of the RVF audience here.

Not only did I find this video funny, I thought it was frikkin hilarious. When I first viewed this video about 2 weeks back, I laughed harder than I had laughed in at least a couple of weeks. I was immobilized for a bit. I shared it with my mom and several others close to me. I played it back at least a dozen times upon first discovery. I look back at it now and still find myself thoroughly amused, though not as cripplingly so as before.

I've taken the time now to view some of the alternatives shared in this thread that are supposedly "funnier", and I frankly can't agree. The Jaboody bit with Guy Fieri that Roosh shared was quite amusing and comes much closer than the others (I'm actually running through their channel now, its good stuff), but even that video didn't get me doubled over the way the vid in the OP did (The masturbation vid above was alright too).

I am inclined to agree with Rah. This vid is getting way more hate and analysis than it needs. Some of the critiques in this thread seem almost as though they are being stretched in order to fit a gendered manosphere argument ("alpha" this, "beta" that, and so on). I can't understand as I just don't see the connections being made. All I see are a couple of guys making a pretty amusing video. Are they hipsters? Sure, but they're funny hipsters. I just leave it at that.

And there I have offered my two cents. Is this beta? Dunno, don't care.

Chris Farley used to do that kind of physical humour even before internet was a thing. Was he beta? Did he doomed masculinity to extinction?

I laughed at the rhino part and don't regret it. Lame undertones from the creators though.

Not only did I not crack a smile, it pissed me off. I don't get this social media fueled SWPL humor. I feel put off by over the top goofy shit with no subtlety. I just don't understand what people find funny here. If this had you passing out with laughter it's like telling me you eat shit sandwiches for lunch and enjoy them.

This video has set up a whole new trend on the Internet.

I am glad that I shared it with our RVF colleagues,
