I want to give props to Janka because I emailed him a couple questions and he emailed me back answers pretty quick a year or two ago.

I asked something like

1) "Why isn't there a chick shortage in NYC ( Manhattan) when rents are about the highest anywhere?"

I've seen pics of him sunning himself in Spain I think with GF. He has some greying hair but looks good.

It's easy to dismiss his ideas because he's attractive. Yet if an average guy read his guide and used his methods, he'd do OK for himself, too.

Let's face it, if you're an average guy you're not pulling New York 8s and 9s and models. And that's because you're not ready to play in the big leagues yet.

But a normal guy can use that guide to meet more women than he would have otherwise. That in itself validates Janka's methods.

No I dont see how those paragraphs refute each other. He plays huge numbers and goes for the easy girls, no invest like long time in sets or dates. Where exactly is the contradiction? This weekend I was out with my buddy and this girl. The girl we were with got approach by this random guy beside her and he was being super direct and hitting on her.

She came to the conclusion that he was weird and creepy for saying that stuff.

My naturally alpha buddy immediately called her out "yeah but if the guy was tall and handsome then it would have been the most charming thing ever and you would have given him your number"

I have never seen a girl get more visibly upset than when she was called out like this.

Point of the story: Girls react solely on the emotions they feel and do not think about these things logically.

It's much easier for him to do the simple no gimmicks routine since his looks already built attraction. All he has to do is not fuck up.

Whereas the Simplepickup guys would never work with the Janka routine. I doubt the short asian dude in Simplepickup can go up to girls like Janka and talk normal to get them. If he does that, at best he gets friendzoned, so he needs to use a gimmick to get attention.

I respectfully disagree.

Almost any man can talk to women normally. We don't need any "gimmicks" or tricks.

Just being a confident man and good conversationalist is enough.

Most chicks will respond to that.

Just be very self-assured. Being witty helps, being funny helps, being good looking helps.

But, being a man who is sure of himself and unafraid is often enough to get a legit chance with most girls.

The short Asian dude from Simple Pick Up could absolutely talk to girls normally and without any gimmicks. He is naturally a confident and funny dude.

Sometimes, simplicity is more powerful then "gimmicks".

A quiet, confident man who looks a woman in the eye can be more powerful then a clown who uses special tricks.

Personally, I use both methods depending on the situation.
