The power of the Diesel jeans...

Just saying: designer jeans go out of style in a season. A staple like Burberry trench carries brand power AND is timeless.

Chasing fashion is a retarded pursuit. HOWEVER, having even ONE classy piece that is in season-- a flagship item, if you will-- such as a fresh pair of Diesel jeans, that matches your style, the rest of your get up can be thrift store bullshit, and sends the same message as having a fashion relevant entire outfit, which, I think, is gay.

Unless you're rich, then who cares, buy the entire line.

Big shoutout to the members that wear 514's on other threads. Picked up 2 pair yesterday. Already getting the love. Now here's a fashion homework assignment. Study the different size back pockets. This is a maker or breaker.

Diesel jeans can be had for 100 or less dollars through online discount stores. As well as other high end jeans 7 for all mankind, true religion, rockstar.

Ebay has way to much fake stuff. I buy almost all my clothes through hautelook, beyondtherack, gilt, etc.

True, but catch is that those are usually rejected styles that didn't sell enough in the mainstream nordstrom/bloomingdales outlets. I once bought two 7's, one Rock and Republic from nordstrom rack for a total of $300 but when I put them on I realized it wasn't as good as the full price stuff.

Right. The Diesel jeans that are sold through online discount stores are not manufactured in the same factories than the ones that are sold in the Diesel stores. It is actually manufactured by Diesel, but it's low cost products of doubtful quality and even sometimes with fabrication defaults.

Many brands have this two levels system of fabrication. Diesel has even three levels: one top notch for the stores, one mid-level for the official discount stores, and one low cost for the stuff that they sell to online discount stores.

I bought 2 pairs of Diesel jean shorts the other day in Bangkok, they seem to be decent quality but probably are the low cost ones as I only paid about $40 for the two pairs. I will likely go back and pick up some more jean pants before I leave BKK, I better be getting some action out of this!

Pants with large back pockets detract from your ass. Unless you suffer from no ass, avoid. Find pants with small pockets.
