Dude, the article says its a study encompassing 48 different species. This is some scientific shit about animals.

I don't think the article even once made specific reference to humans.

Hardly strikes me as dubious research to bolster the feminist agenda. If so, it's a hell of a round-about way of doing it, with a study on 48 species, one of which (may or may not) be humans.

But from an evolutionary perspective, this trait wouldn't be passed down unless this cuckolded men were nevertheless successfully producing and raising their own kids. So it maybe that they sacrifice in making an investment in another man's seed because it's the price they have to pay for having the chance to ever reproduce.

Anyway, I don't find this finding to be very surprising. For all the threads on here extolling the virtues of testosterone, which are many, it's likely that high T men are going to die sooner than their counterparts. Low T cuckolds will outlive us.

I bet you anything this has to do with the fact that guys with higher testosterone are more impulsive/violent and therefore more likely to die earlier. On the average numbers, they burn brighter when they are alive by banging many more women (and probably going raw most of the time), and then fizzle out by dying earlier whether it be from engaging in more risky activities or the cumulative effects on their body of a lifetime of doing whatever the hell they want.

From an evolutionary perspective, it's still a winning strategy with all the progeny produced.

Teedub I agree with you the study was about animals but the article puts a spin on this and was solely about shaming men.

That's really what the study is saying. Men with lower testosterone live longer than men with higher testosterone. Just like women live longer than men.
