Yes and they are rather affordable compared to what most people would think if you were to get an older Gallardo. It simply is an aid though. It shouldn't be a fall back.

Would this same car get this attention on South Beach? I doubt it.

I can't believe the reactions that gets. People stopping, crossing the road, getting out of seats in restaurants to lick the windows to have a look. What the fuck?
Maybe it's because I lived in Dubai and became desensitized to seeing these supercars but I don't recall ever acting like that even before I went. Just goes to show the average mindset of people. "We gotta get pictures!!!"
Is Pittsburgh not affluent or something?

Pittsburgh is only as affluent as the vast majority of places in the USA.
Places like Dubai, London, Miami and LA are the exception, not the rule. Supercars are only common in a handful of places. Most places are like Pittsburgh in that supercars are extremely rare and, consequently, get a lot of extra attention when they show up.

The wealthier the area, the more muted the reaction.
This video was taken in Pittsburgh. You can expect a much stronger reaction there than you'd see in South Beach, Fairfield County (Connecticut) or LA.
In fact, outside of a few urban "hotspots" where such cars are more common (the aforementioned areas plus perhaps Atlanta, Dallas, NYC, The Silicon Valley, and a couple of other spots), this reaction could be considered normal.
In most parts of the country you can go years without ever seeing any kind of exotic. I'm willing to bet that the vast majority of Americans have still never actually seen a Lamborghini in person, and that's to say nothing of people in less affluent parts of the world.

Well of course.
Why would anyone with 2 Twenty Dollar Bills to rub together ever go to Pittsburgh?
