Vitamix VS Juicing

Whoa the vitamix is easy to clean. I had peanut butter and maple in it which are in general hard to clean. You simply add about half of the container with warm water and some detergent. Than turn the machine one and slowly ramp up to 10 on the variable setting until the foam is about 3/4 the way up. Than you leave it on high for 30-60 seconds. Than simply dump out the soapy water and food, and rinse. If there are some sticky areas just wipe and they come off much faster than if you manually cleaned with a sponge.
I don't like how the container can be rotated on the base, other blenders lock when in place, but on high it doesn't seem to rattle. Just make some wind due to the speed of the blades.

Be careful with green smoothies. More than 20 oz every day, and you will shit your brains out. They make a decent breakfast, but haven't quite figured out how much to safely eat to get good shits, and not spend all day in the bathroom.

Too much and I think you risk losing gut flora, and causing damage to the intestinal lining. Also the butt will go raw from the wiping. I have caused bleeding this way, and it really hurts. I think their needs to be balance to how much you drink. This isn't quite juice either. You would need to strain it to become juice, but that would still be less clean up, I think than a juicer.
I think 8-12 oz a day you would still get some of the laxative affect, but its more manageable. I will test this to verify.

I tend to shit at work, so no shower available. I have some balmex zinc oxide cream for rough days, and use wetted toilet paper when a sink is next to the toilet. I have a limit to how much fiber I can have due to Chrohns. Its possible to trigger a flare up where you get diarrhea and severe cramping. My GI doctor told me about it, and I found out the hard way as well.
I might try making some margarita and dressings as well. I don't have the ingredients yet. Shaved snow sounds like it might be useful too.
