This is the lighter I carry when I'm on a bang mission

It's a Xikar "Crossover"-I think they closed out the model but it can still be found online. About $50. Has a really strong "flower jet" flame that is impressive and chicks love the look of it. Works like a champ. Xikar has a lot of nice lighters. I wouldn't recommend Colibri- I've never owned one but have heard negative things about their function and reliability.

I have a zippo, don't even smoke, just got it to learn lighter tricks initially. Now it's just cool to be able to have a light for when a chick asks.

@MrXY- I like the Xikar lighters. Here's a contender:

They make some cool ass shit for cigars. The Havana Collection lighters are another contender.

Also looking at a custom Bic case. Check this shit out:

Cool huh? Now how to game with it. Hand her the lighter to light her own smoke.

Her: Cool, where did you get this?
Me: It's an old Egyptian artifact that was found in a pyramid. Be careful with it.

I think you guys are right about matches. Nothing is classier than lighting up a girls smoke with phosphorus. I need to find some that I can strike on the side of my boot. Mad cool.

I used to use these all the time when I was a kid for cigarettes:

Pay attention to #8 and 19.

Striking a match on glass would be good for an opener. How the hell is that kid doing that shit?

Man, that Bic case is niceeee. Have to be careful when you're drunk so nobody walks off with it though.

So what I've found is strike anywhere matches suck now. Not the quality of the old days. Penleys can still be bought, but that's about it. I'll buy some Diamonds today and start fucking around. Now check this out. It's the precursor to Zippo's:

Match safes. Way old school. Kinda like pulling out a Zippo. I may buy one. In the end I think it best to have both matches and lighter. Matches are useless in high winds. You kill the mood by trying to strike 10 matches to light a chicks smoke.

@Houston- That bic case is pimp, but I'm afraid to contact the guy to see how much commissioning one will cost. Check out this piece.

This is true.

I think you can buy good ones in Mexico.

Just so you guys all know the only lighter that flies while you're around the water is a bic. The cheap ones rust out in 5 minutes after salt water hits them and zippo and butane lighter fail nonstop. Nothing worse than being on the ocean with no fire.

I don't see the issue with a Zippo, especially if you're of a younger age (I'm twenty-three), I don't see many dudes my age with a decent looking lighter. So rocking a Zippo for personal use and to give someone a light has always gotten me comments and girl's always tell me how fancy my lighter is.

Ali the Bic lighter case in Post # 29 and Zippo case in Post # 33 look great. Mind Sharing the site where I can get my hands on those [Image: smile.gif]

Here is what I found on E bay for $ 20.

I carry Zippo on me currently and love it, but it is an absolute bitch to travel with them, TSA regulations etc and to find Lighter fluid when in a new city ...

A customized Bic case might just do the trick .

No matter what your age, people don't rock decent lighters.

Easy way to put yourself a few levels above the fray.

I'm leaning toward the Bic case for the reasons you listed. Here's the artisan that makes the custom pieces:

Contact him and see what he wants for a Bic case.

In the meantime, I might kick it with one of these:

It'll match my PUA hat and platform boots with the goldfish in the heels.

Another style that isn't quiet me, but for the price can be is something along the lines of:

Jury is still out though.

I'm going to order one just for the fuck of it this week.

Well, here I am still empty-handed. I lost this Zippo couple weeks back:

Real classy color and matched my boots and glasses. In a failed attempt to find something more exotic, looks like Zippo wins out for now. Here's a few contenders, what do you guys think?

Don't know why as I usually would consider that tacky, but it reminds me of the silhouette dancers on the old Bond movies.

Not bad. The hard thing, is there is such a fine line between classy and tacky with Zippo's. Dammit.

No, but it does have Shakira on it, so it gets an honorable mention on the forum.

Not me either, but I could see some of the personalities here on the forum using this as a good conversation piece.

SO! I will probably end up with the fuzzy case, another toffee colored Zippo, and either the stripper or ace of spades version. Contrary to popular belief, you can travel by air with Zippo lighters. And here is the proof:

So you CAN travel with two Zippo's. BAM!!!

Whateva G! You just added that lighter to your blog like two seconds ago just to get me to eat crow. [Image: tongue.gif][Image: tongue.gif][Image: tongue.gif]

For real though, you guys were making it sound like you couldn't travel at all with Zippo's, so I was looking for alternatives. Finding out that they are authorized helps me out. Looks like this week I'll buy the toffee and girl lighter for real. The former got compliments, but I need one (latter) when I'm in my "Ali-B" mode.

The fuzzy lighter looks gay, I admit....BUT! Think of the opener when I "happen" to leave it next to a girls drink sitting next to me in the bar. Worse case, if she acts pissed, I'll treat her like an idiot for thinking an inanimate object was alive. I got 10 good lines for that one.

Those custom Zippo's/Bic cases are still in the horizon, but they are fucking expensive, so I need to ease myself into that thought. But again, great conversation piece. And as I always say, when a girl opens you, that is more than half the battle.

Cheers.

Zippo maybe.. Bics are popular for a reason. Only others I consider are Clippers and Ronson. Ronson are the best refillable lighter, the sparker never dies.. Always manage to lose them before they die though. Fuck torch lighters..

How about a Roosh commissioned Zippo lighter? The company offers custom lighters now. Pretty slick.
