As a black man, I applaud your efforts to holler @ black women. I hope that each of you is successful in getting your black flag as i've ran through every race, religion and creed other than Asian. (all of my friends are asia-philes, which is weird). I'm personally not threatened by Hollywood's attempt to pair white men with black women. (Vanessa Williams @ ABC's 666 Park comes to mind). I'm fine with it.
Lemme drop some basic tips on hollering @ Black American Women in the US. (i'm not including Africans or Caribbeans, that's a level 2 data sheet, and black women abroad...I have no clue)
5 types that the avg white guy will come in contact with.
In general, the Beyonce's of the world are off limits to you. (the 1% of the 1%) Just like you can't fuck the hottest Lebanese, Chinese, or Brazilian chicks, there's just far too much intra-racial competition for a non-insider guy of average money, fame, and attractiveness to get to.
But there are enough beautiful women of every shade that you need not worry. You could probably find a young Yonce here in the H if you went to enough events.
1) The black women most receptive to suburban white/asian cock have a lot of white friends (think Aisha Tyler), and can be found singing along to Carly Rae Jepsen @ your local drinking and dancing establishment. Usually this chick is skinny/athletic if her white friends are skinny and athletic. She may be taller than them though.
For whatever reason, the "long distance runner" look is not popular with black men, which bodes well in your favor, cause in general white guys like Lithe/Svelte/Slender. But fear not, she will have some junk in the trunk as compared to her Becky friends though.
You approach her like you'd approach any other white chick. That's what she wants. Any kind of "hip hop" slang will be seen as offensive to her. If you compliment, don't compliment on the things that make her different from her peer group.
Do say, "I love your eyes"
Don't say, "I love your hair"
In general commenting on her racial features that's treading on thin ice. Much like professing your love for Romney and extolling typical conservative ideology. Right wing stuff is generally a turn off for women, but doubly so for black women.
If she has a "unique" name, I wouldn't try to spin it. No nick names, no comments about the uniqueness....I might just say, that's pretty, and get the proper pronunciation. (although name exchange is a throwaway at the front end of a chat imo. You're gonna forget it and have to ask later)
Chances are, she's the least approached of her group of friends, so provided that you pass the smell test with the friends, and she's vaguely interested, you could be dick deep in motherland shortly.
It's been my experience that these particular chicks are more prudish than their white counterparts, but your mileage may vary. If only Heather and Buffy share more of their kinkiness with Keisha. I digress.
On a scale of 1-5, I rate the "Aisha" as 1.5 for non-black guys.
For black guys, this is a mountain to climb, because you really have to negotiate the territory of race when you normally don't have to, and repair all of the damage done to her psyche by black men in the past. For us, this is a 4.5 out of 5. Some of these chicks are very hard to connect to precisely because you are black.
2) The black chick who's all "African"ed out.
- baby afro
- earthy/bohemian wear
- wooden jewelry, cowry shells
- no make up, no high heels
On the plus side, women who go "natural", i.e no more straightened hair, they have afro's or dreadlocks - they get less attention from black men as a whole. Many (men and women) are surprised by this but they shouldn't be. Perm/weave/extension are a billion dollar business for a reason. Black men prefer black women to have long straight hair, end of discussion.
The silver lining means she may be open to being approached by a white guy. Many chicks that go natural will lament that they get more white approaches than black approaches after going natural. Eventually their community of natural-ites make it okay for them to take a white zilla every now and then.
On the minus side, a lot of chicks who go natural tend to go all militant. So she might go all hood on you when you holler, which can be unpleasant.
Usually raging sluts in bed, under the guise that "it's all natural". Expect to see some coconut oil lube by the bed stand.
Difficulty - I'd say this is a 3 out of 5.
3) A super hood chick - phat ass, stank attitude with streaks of sweetness, shows up in a bootleg local gangsta rap video, or dances @ a black strip club...
Typically these kind of chicks are the most intimidating. They definitely expect a traditional financial arrangement from a dude who's not in her peer group. A guy in her peer group? She may support him financially!
If this chick were a college, i'd call it a reach.
4 out of 5 in difficulty. Can be done, but the white guys who pull these chicks regularly aren't from the burbs. They are either johns, from the hood, or dangerous as fuck. (i.e. self employed Italians)
4) The Essence Reader - These are the black women you see at work, or at school, and *all* of their friends are black and only go to black events. (in fact they have the 1 white friend who will be singing Trey Songz - who's an easy target for black men)
She is probably in a black sorority.
She definitely goes to church.
She may or may not be in HR.
You may not even be aware of this kind of chick until you're put into some situation with one. They are largely invisible to white people in a sexual way. Unless of course they have breasts and show them off. The black woman with big tits and no ass (the P shape) is in the same situation as the long distance runner. For a lot of black men it's ass, or tits and ass. But just tits....
The big tits tend attract white guys, and she's not ready to succumb yet.
In general the Essence reader is a no go. These women have pledged themselves to black men forever, even if they remain dateless, dickless, and childless.
At the end of their viability they're open to white dudes, and may make great wives, but prime time "i'm a Delta Sigma Theta member for life", "I need MLK JR Day Off" type chicks are tough for white guys.
