Is RSD simply PUA ?
I got to know a couple of ex pats down in Colombia who were into RSD, one went on a retreat to LA. It seemed like when he spoke about it, it was some sort of life goal spiritual retreat in LA. There was a larger group the first day, then a smaller group the 2nd, finally you had one on one sessions or small group work on the 3rd day. I didn't ask a ton of questions because they didn't seem to be volunteering a ton of info. Like I don't tell everyone about the forum.
When discussing women with them, it seemed like they talked about some secret BS knowledge relating to some sort of spiritual philosophy around your centre and masculine/feminine energies and flow. They would always say 'flow' , slightly annoying.
With respect to RSD, Do they do more than just pick up these days? It makes sense that as these guys get older, and their followers, they need to add new levels to their teaching beyond approach, approach, approach.

All their free shit is just an advertisement for their paid shit. It's worthless for the most part and overall just a word salad meant to confuse you into thinking you need more knowledge so you buy their product. Just download The Blueprint from piratebay and you're set.

I have very mixed feelings about RSD.
I think that they do have some legitimately insightful information on pickup and self development, however most of their content is worthless - especially from Tyler. They could reduce their videos from an hour to 10 minutes and get the exact same point across. So I simply can't stand watching their content anymore.
The other problem is that they are very gimmicky, clickbaity, and culty. They have all the answers and if you disagree with them you are wrong. At the end of the day they're more concerned with making money than anything. I think they're just as good at gaming their audience as they are at gaming women.
One of my friends paid for their bootcamp but he had to back out so he offered me to go in his place. I found it to be a compete waste of time and I really regret it because it was exhausting. They discourage drinking and drug use and take all the fun out of game. I remember one of their former instructors (some Aussie named Alex) would describe his game as more or less "going out with friends and having fun drinking" and it completely clashed with the RSD ideology of game.

That Aussie guy was the only one i ever got any value from. Not any great epiphanies or goals, just practical stuff. I remember he talked at one point about being in after school detention at school, and how everyone would self amuse, and that can carry that into game. Sounds utterly risible now i'm typing it, but it really made sense to me. Just to not expect too much, just make the most of what's in front of you. I'm sure i've completely ruined the analogy, i dunno it was 5 years ago, but still, made sense at the time...

I agree - I think PUAs are mostly full of shit at this point. Most of them are not red-pilled, and if they are they don't touch on deep subjects like the stuff Rollo, Roosh, etc talk about. They don't teach you anything about how to KEEP a girl. The deep, intricate nature of female hypergamy, shit testing, cheating, etc. I think I would have been better off without ever discovering PUA. I had already started approaching on my own volition before discovering PUA and I did quite well just kind of winging it.
I was talking with a friend who mentioned RSD to me the other day.
I said something very similar to this to him and I thought it was worth sharing for men that eventually come to this forum looking for feedback on RSD from guys that have been there, seen it and processed what it offers:
"RSD is probably fantastic for guys right at the beginning of their self development journey. Their content is fantasy content. It gets you thinking in a non realistic, non logical way, and the great thing about this is that you will go out and do things that aren't logical or based in how you should be living life in the long term. You will at least create SOME momentum in your life doing this and get some short term wins you can use as a success reference point going forward ...
HOWEVER, once you have done pickup and watched their videos for about a year or two, you need to stop watching their videos and never watch them again (their stuff is literally like crack cocaine to guys that are socially isolated, depressed, extremely unnatural socially or with women, or are coming from a past of pain and confusion).
Start building out a real sustainable life and taking on life responsibilities after that so you can start forming long term friendships and relationships and build a real life for yourself (assuming you want to get to that point).
There are many more levels to life fulfillment and understanding than what is communicated by YouTube pickup artists and dating or life coaches.
In no reality would any red pill or any successful guy that I've met with real quality friends, a real quality career (or work that he cares about), that is a part of healthy communities of people, watch their stuff and look at it as anything other than entertainment or something to laugh at.
The quality men I know carry themselves with discipline, self respect and are well spoken. Does that mean they don't have fun in life? No. But, it means they can have fun at the right times, and they have self control in when they do it (because they have a life to live outside of mindlessly running around approaching girls and doing whatever they want when they want - because that is what boys and men with no structure or responsibility in their life do).
As long as you view RSD in that way - they are harmless (a very over commercialised and crazy marketing hype train type of harmless)."
