I was just in Barcelona for three days. Stayed at the W. In one day I walked 15 miles in the city, I think I covered every corner of the city. I ate at Tickets twice, go there for the best tapas experience in your life. I went to the beach, saw most of the famous architecture, day gamed but had no luck pulling, and probably experienced the greatest city I have ever been too. The beaches are nude. They are packed. Probably the biggest urban beach I have ever seen outside of Rio. Miles of packed beaches.

I was there for the Festival of Sant Joan. The entire city came to the beach on Friday night, probably at least a million people, at midnight. Blowing off fireworks all night. Incredibly hot girls everywhere. The only thing was the city basically shut down for the weekend after that, even the clubs. Which I didn't mind too much, but.. I would have liked to have seen the club scene.

One thing not mentioned; Barcelona is the global latina vacation destination in the world. Latina's from all over the world flock here to go on vacation. The girls I daygamed were from Peru, Colombia and Mexico. One from Peru made me Facebook her, then she started liking all of my stuff and then I unfriended her haha. I couldn't get her back out b/c she was with her friends on her trip. Tinder was coming in with a lot of locals matches, and I would describe the women as sophisticated latinas. It made me want to really learn to speak Spanish.

A lot of people go there for the music festivals. But those are packed with the same assholes you see in London and New York. I would go for Barcelona itself.

$400/night, expensive for a W but its probably the best W in the world. Walked up to Tickets twice, as a table for 1, they are selective at the door like a club. Both going in late so maybe that helped. Interesting restaurant, truly Catalonian. The only place I have ever seen that concept, surprised its not replicated in other cities. Truly what tapas really is, 99% of tapas places are crap.

They claim that Barcelona isn't as big as Paris, London or New York. City's population triple during busy summer months. They say that, Barcelona can't handle 4 million people because city doesn't have capacity.

They don't get space as much as they want, when tourists flock there. Prices get little bit more for locals as well because there are a lot of demands. If they get independence from Spain, they might not remain in EU because of the free-movement.

I mean, they have some valid points but their biggest income is tourism as well.

I usually stay in El Born/Gotico area so mainly tourists on the streets, quality not that good given the huge amount of people walking around. The girls I met were through Tinder and I had some very good dates, mix of locals and tourists. Still in contact with 2 after nearly a year since I was last there.

For a longer stay I need to do more research but would probably pick an area like Gracia, upscale and more residential - much further away from Las Ramblas.

I don't know, man. I thought local Barcelona girls were ugly. A lot of South Americans emigrated there too, it's hard to find real Catalan girls, actually. I can tell if they're from Spain or South America once they speak, since Spanish is close to Italian.

But I wasn't impressed with Catalan girls there, except of course tourists. Some of the Dutch/German/Scandinavian girls were pretty hot. Not the local girls.

The locals hate them. Saw similar signs all over the metro as well. My land lord said now it only possible to rent out 1 apartment at the same time. He owns 4 just in Barcelona, and is from Firenze.

Yes the biggest income is tourism, and i makes the money flow. But if you go to gotico, barceloneta etc, you'll see that immigrants own and work in most tourist-oriented bars and restaurants. The locals don't see these money.

About the girls, i believe that they have way better bodies than Scandinavian girls, their faces can be good or bad, but some are really beautiful. They are hard to game, and you'll often need social circle to do so like their Italian counterparts. I was lucky enough to grab a Catalan flag by the hottest girl on my course. I avoid The Med countries like the plague. I dislike short, slight, and swarthy women.

But BCN is pretty amazing.

I went during the PRIME TIME tourist month of June and it was amazing. Warm as shit but tons of dutch, Scandinavian, white American girls from shitty small town colleges, etc.

Party scene is like Vegas a bit without the Casino bullshit and degenerate Americans. And with amazing food and a beach. Has a sophisticated and "unpretentious" nightlife (as seen from a NYC pov). Big fucking clubs too.

But its tough: 2 lays in 5 nights: 1 Dutch, 1 American. I also took my hits! For example, an ideal girl choose another guy to bang (probably) instead of me. Dudes are thirsty as the they know girls are on "vacation mode."

If you are not getting laid regularly and are looking to "hack the system", be prepared to drop that bullshit when you arrive. You need to DO WORK over here if you want your cute girl 7+ for the night.

But the tourists will put out. You will fuck a few hours after meeting them.

As far as day game, I just slept during the day but the city is filled with people. If you see a girl and she is not with a guy, I would approach and assume she is single.

Why would a girl with a SO go to BCN by themselves or with a group of girls? From my experience Euro girls in relationships will be with their SO if they are traveling during summer months.

Recently finished a 3 month stint in BCN this summer and figured I'd add my input to this datasheet. Barcelona is one of those unique places that has received everything from high praise by some (like GManifesto) to disappointment by others.

First off, the stats:

7 notches (3 months):
1.) Chinese Tourist (Tinder) [5]
2.) Dual-Pull German Tourist (Opium) [6]
3.) Trilingual Chinese Masters Student, Local (Tinder) [7]
4.) Yale Girl, Tourist (Opium) [6]
5.) Korean School Teacher, Tourist (Opium) [6]
6.) Panamanian/Spanish Chica, Local (Opium) [7]
7.) Chubby Italian, Tourist (Opium) [5]

Numbers-wise it was decent, but the quality I pulled was only average (especially in comparison to my results in Bangkok just prior). And the other HUGE problem was a severe lack of residual-bangs (getting with the same girl again). Among the 5 tourist lays, all left Barcelona within couple days of meeting them and among the locals I was only able to lock down #6 into a blissful mini-LTR for my 2 final weeks in the city. So definitely I was having less sex than I wanted to, even having as long as 3-week dry spell in there in the middle of the trip.

I must have gone to Opium close to 20 times and pulled 5 of those times. I can't count how many times I was vibing nicely with some fly chica, only to see her later in the night either making out with some 6'3" Calvin Klein underwear model or permanently out of reach in the VIP. Which is why as you can see above, I was mostly relegated to 6s there with one lucky 7 I chanced upon.

To do things right at Opium you need to be like Lucky Luke, who chronicled his epic rise to the pinnacle of the BCN nightlife scene here. Who knows, maybe he was the guy I saw in the VIP with his tongue down the throat of the Brazilian could-be Victoria's Secret model I had met earlier in the night...

Now, on to the lay reports!

1.) Chinese Tourist (Tinder) [5]

This girl was loaded. I took her out to a super fancy Japanese-Brazilian fusion restaurant called Ikibana ($90 for 2) and she insisted on paying half. Was from Tianjin, family has 3 manufacturing businesses, and was staying at lots of fancy hotels on her Eurotrip. Even though she wasn't very attractive looks-wise, her personality was great and I enjoyed my time with her. Hat-tip to TravelerKai and his Mainland China dating guide, given my experience with this girl and #3 I now have my eye on mainland China as a potential wife-source a few years down the line.

2.) Dual-Pull German Tourist (Opium) [6]

N.B. I *did* make out with a 1 hot Catalan girl (a 'Marta' no less) with absolutely massive boobs despite being rail thin. Easily a 7.5. Unfortunately, I couldn't close the deal and she wouldn't go on a date with me afterwards so that lead went cold. Same story with my friend, a couple of makeouts with local Catalan girls but no lay. Their tough reputation is well merited.

CONCLUSION

It was a pretty good summer, but I won't be back in Barcelona for longer than a weekend trip in the future.

IMO Barcelona is great for a short vacation (plenty of other tourists, no residual lay problems) OR great for long-term +1 year living (top tier local talent you can eventually network into) but honestly pretty shitty for the typical RVF 1-3 month bang trip where the locals won't accept you due to their "tourist-shields" and the tourists always "leaving tomorrow" give you poor ROI on your efforts.

One final thing to note is that we *DID* check out Malalts de Festa (LaPastillaRoja's #1 spot) and it *WAS* jam packed with HOT HOT HOT Catalonian 18-22 year olds from the suburbs *BUT* our lack of Spanish really fucked us and we couldn't convert. So if you speak fluent Spanish your results could be completely different here by mining this goldmine every weekend (truly a testament to this forum, that such an amazing, well-hidden spot, is detailed on the RVF for all of us to enjoy).

^Great report, that Panamanian/Spanish chica looks damn fine. What neighbourhood did you stay in and where did you tend to game in the daytime? I stayed in the Gracia in neighbourhood this summer (although stayed at a relative so didn't game much). If I were to come back next time for a gaming trip which neighbourhood would you suggest to get a place, I was thinking maybe Pobleneu cos of the proximity to the centre and Barceloneta but maybe there's a better place.
