I just want to say Happy New Year to all posters here.

It has been another enjoyable year on the RVF. I've been butting heads all over the forum but still wish ALL of you a great and successful 2013.

Published my first book and made just about all the mistakes there were to make in just about every segment of writing,publishing and marketing the book and still sold over 500 copies. I've learned everything the hard way but that usually the only way that works with me.
Can't say it's a bestseller but I'm still satisfied with the results so far especially since royalties add up fast in the self publishing biz.

2013 looks to be promising for me, working on a megalomaniacal project right now. High risk, high reward. Winner takes it all.

I'm busy with something at the moment.
The Christmas/holiday discount will end tomorrow but I will lower my price a bit on all formats since the book is now about half a year old. I think I will drop one dollar in price.

Yes, large portion of the book is dedicated to South America

Good stuff Neil! I enjoy your posts and bought your book. Truly enjoyable read and very cheap. Come on guys, stop being so cheapos..the guy is selling a book for what? 10 bucks and you are still asking for a discount? Are some of you guys for real? If anything, Neil, I'd suggest you INCREASE the damn price of your book. If you can't afford 10 lousy bucks, then you don't deserve to read this and definitely cannot afford to travel. Sorry to sound so harsh, but that's the cold hard truth!

It's not a simple 10 page ebook either, but rather over 300 pages of entertaining, informative and at times, hilarious account of almost 3 years globe trotting while laying an obscene amount of girls.

If anything Neil, I'd strongly suggest you to INCREASE the price of your book. And stop wasting your time and energy going after the broke and cheap guys segment of the market. They'd make you go crazy and it's really not worth it.

Neil, read this book: No BS Price Strategy, the Ultimate No Holds Barred Kick Butt Take No Prisoners Guide to Profits, Power and Prosperity by Dan. Kennedy. And always remember, Your prosperity starts with your price strategy. Common sense really.

Thanks for the encouragement VP, appreciate it. Like I said I might drop the price a bit to get of the 10 bucks mark. (ebook, not paperback in which I can't actually drop the price because of some Amazon US rules) But you won't ever see a 2.99 or 3.99 price on my book. If they aren't willing to pay a reasonable price for 500 (not 300) jampacked pages of travel/girls mayhem and advice then fuck them.

It will help you to get laid with foreign hotties for the price of a few beers. Having one shitty night out is already more expensive.
Not to mention the money you can save on travel and scam advice throughout the book. And the fun you can have reading it.

So yes, thanks again for the encouragement and I will check out that book you recommended.
