can imagine its slim pickings in other places, but in NYC, its pretty amazing. Ideally the easiest way to get a conversation going, but I have to remember not to lean on it too much. Can get several dates a week out of it, and ladies are more apt to meet in person very quickly, quicker than I have seen online.

It's basically bring online dating to those who wouldn't normally sign up. Although, facebook (at baseline) has always been a bit of a dating site in my opinion.

The quality of the girls on this app is off the fucking charts. I'm blown away.
EDIT: The only problem is figuring out which girl is which in the pictures. I swear, sometimes I think this app is all about girls showing off their CRAY-ZEE social lives.

I agree - the girls on here are ridiculous (esp in LA). One problem I seem to be running into is that a lot of the hotter girls seem to be 18-22 (which is to be expected), but I get much better match rates with girls who are 26-32.
I'm 29, and I can't change it on Tinder because it's verified through FB. Normally, age doesn't seem to be an issue for me, but for Tinder, your age is so conspicuously placed, and it is one of the few things these girls have to go off of. The okcupid mobile app now has an in-app tinder (under matches). Far more effective than the standalone app so far.

Too bad there's not Tinder for android (yet), but I've been researching and I've found Swoon. It's supposedly only available in the US so I couldn't download and test it but maybe it can be of use for all you players in the US until Tinder gets ported to android.

When I turned on my phone today I saw there was a Swipe update. Apparently they fixed the location settings.
