I think he likes to give that illusion (to provide plausible deniability for his day job HR dept?), but I suspect it is all him.

You can tell when he is on vacation because he releases some pre-canned lame stuff every day for a week. If he had a team, vacations would be covered.

Take care of those titties for me.

The personality of Heartiste is too different for it to be Roissy. Heartiste has to be written by someone younger and angrier than the original Roissy - at least the average Heartiste writer is younger and angrier. The writing is also of lower quality, although Heartiste clearly tries to emulate Roissy.

I learned a lot from Roissy. He was someone who would make a great mentor. Heartiste is clearly written by someone who has little to teach me.

Can anyone lump the early articles into one download? 07-10? I'd enjoy reading that.

I wish i discovered this stuff going into college. The golden days so to speak were during those years.

I can't stand the current writer's style. Read enough of his writing and you can tell whoever Heartiste is is completely whack in real life, too much overcompensating over-intellectual babble, he's got nothing on old school Roissy both in terms of style and content. And too often he'll selectively quote a scientific study whose conclusions don't actually support what he writes about it.

Also the audience he's attracted is probably one of the main reasons this forum's taken such a nosedive too.

Lady Raine was quite interesting, she was like someone that bothers you and you want him to f off, but when hes gone you miss the person, coz its boring without him/her.

Holy difference in writing style!

His older posts are soo much tamer in comparison and in fact i say damn near pleasant to read. Wow, thats some good material.

Everyone changes over time. If you go back and read roosh from 5 years ago he sounds different too. I think the original Roissy is still there but at two posts a day I'm pretty sure he's not doing it alone.

Heartiste was my introduction to game but looking back, it did more harm than good to me. I'm still undoing a lot of the crap that I started to implement, his stuff can be pretty mechanical and borderline sociopathic compared to the more free-flowing, natural style I'm working on cultivating. There certainly is some golden info there, but a lot of crap that will set you back as well.

You guys mention that the really old stuff is better, so maybe it's worth another look but I definitely stopped visiting that site a while ago as it seems to have become more of a political sounding board rather than a game blog.

Nice to have a copy of his work.

I've looked through the files and don't see anything older than Endless Dating by Roissy in April 2007.

What if anything in this archives isn't available at the Heartiste Wordpress?

Endless Dating was the first post he had back when I first found him in 2009. I still remember going through his entire posting history that summer at work using google reader so I wouldn't actually be visiting his website, just in case someone in HR or tech support or whatever looked through my browsing history.

Also some recent posts show the different styles of at least two authors at CH now. These three posts on May 28th sound to me like the original Roissy (the third one a little less than the other two), while this one on Friday sounds like a different guy.

There are enough OGs still around that have claimed that some of the early knowledge dropped by Roissy has been successfully scrubbed from the internet. Such a shame. It looks like DoBA was a reader over there since the start and it would be interesting to hear from him.

I believe those that have read Roissy's 2007-mid-2010 work would agree that he will probably be remembered as one of the top three Game blogger of all time. It was a RVF member that sent to me to his archives. If you haven't read early Roissy, do not pass go and do not collect $200 -- go straight to Early Dating and start reading.

As for Jim's current involvement with the published material: It stands to reason, as someone on here pointed out earlier, that Jim is still heavily involved with the Heartiste blog.

I find it hard to believe that:

1) Jim handed the blog over to a team of Game-aware bloggers who, like himself, had an immense vocabulary and vivid writing style. These bloggers also happened to have intricate knowledge of the state of Game in the DC area and were tech savvy enough to run and maintain his Wordpress domain.

It's like handing over a kennel of dogs to your neighbor. Who the hell with a normal day job would agree to take over some randos website and check on it multiple times each day?

2) Jim completely exited red-pill/Manosphere/Game society and now lives a quiet life in a nondescript house in tri-state area with his Midwest Americana wife driving a four-door Honda Accord Sedan with two baby seats in the back.

3) It's not unreasonable to think that Jim did branch out into political posts. It's not uncommon for people to go through stages in their lives. Many young liberals end up as staunch conservatives in their old(er) age. Others have a religious experience and become born again Christians/Buddhists/Atheists.

I distinctly remember a post on CH back on when I still followed it where the author said that he lived in a U.S city that is relatively untouched by feminism, which obviously couldn't be DC. I remember sending it to a bunch of my forum friends but can't find the link, will post it when I do. This makes sense considering there are no more references to D.C as a local anymore. Maybe Jim Weidmann left D.C after he presumably got fired from FINRA and then decided to run the blog with a group. On the other hand he did get completely outed and he is in his 40's, it makes perfect sense that he'd thrown in the towel and pass the day to day running of the blog to other people.

Either way it doesn't matter, Heartiste hasn't been worth reading for years. Look at the comments, there are no cool dudes left who read it. Not one of my RVF friends do. Even ROK on it's worst day does better than that.

Don't see the reason for all the hate towards Roissy. The man may be racist, but the game advice he puts out (either on his own or as examples from readers and subsequent commentary) is top-notch. I've used several of his maneuvers to great effect. Not only is it useful, but it is also easily digestible (many PUAs have a problem with this, delving off into the realm of fantasy) and it's free (no 99$ ebook advertisements swarming you).

I believe that it's still the same person, just that he's allowed the rumors about the blog being passed down to multiple people to spread to shroud his identity.

As for his political posts, I just skip them. Disagreeing with him in this regard is no reason for me to bash his valuable contributions to the game community and men in general.

That's the thing, there hasn't been any valuable contributions to game from him in a long time. Everything he posts on game is a rehash of things everybody already knows, particularly from his own archives. Maybe reading Heartiste's current posts is of value to newbies, but for everyone else it's a waste of time.

But that's exactly the point. Newbies need easily digestible, practical advice that they can actually try right away and see that it's working with their own eyes. Despite the breadth of pickup resources around, Roissy still remains among the best of this regard (and again - free - that automatically means extra exposure because someone unfamiliar with game is rarely going to pay X dollars straight away).

Once you're not a newbie, you're getting enough results to find out what works for you by yourself and the most productive thing you can do for yourself isn't reading game blogs, but approaching. The advice that you could get at that point beings suffering from diminishing returns fast. You get occasional bits of insight like Tuthmosis's first date bang, Gio's persistence or Christian McQueen's deep conversion, but generally speaking there's not much that you could benefit from if you're already an experienced player.

There isn't much to game. He said all there was needed to be said, really. Once you can figure out how to get laid what the fuck else is there? Massive harem game? Cuckold game? Pimp game? BSDM game? The rest is just icing.

Also, his views on race aren't anything extreme, but a lot of people freak out because they are so brainwashed.

The CH blog is intelligent and respects the intelligence of its readers: it never shys away from drawing subtle distinctions between similar concepts with logical consistency, without ever becoming dry or boring. It does a great job of anticipating and preempting counter-arguments, often in hilarious fashion. Meanwhile the principles themselves remain remarkably consistent. Refined and evolved over time (the original SMV test for men is rather crude, for example), but rock solid compared to the shifting sands of blue pill feminism.

As a consequence, I find it easy to disagree with Heartiste on specifics without getting upset about it-- even if I don't have arguments handy to refute any specific point. I don't have to untangle a fallacious mess of rhetoric in order to even identify a consistent point.

Roissy can indeed do more damage than good in the long run.

Sites like danger and play and nexxtlevelup would be more beneficial to game newbies and vets looking to expand their knowledge than Roissy.

Roissy posts come off as bitter and angry, an inevitable loss of internal locus of control. Trickery, over actual self betterment.

Blaming society for ones ills and constantly race baiting to make his audience feel better about themselves doesn't do them favours. Entitlement by racial association rather than hard work is just empty narcissism.

We don't need more bitter dudes out there.

If you must read, stay away from any topics covering race, society, and politics. Or, read at your own peril.

"Heartiste" is a collection of writers, including the original Roissy.

After Roissy's identity was unmasked, he mad the change.

I find out about Roosh through the Roissy/Heartiste site.

I have actually never read any of old Roissy, just the new stuff at Heartiste. Sadly, my Red Pill awakening has been fairly new. I enjoy reading Heartiste a lot, easily one of my favorite blogs. I'll definitely have to go back and read his old stuff now that everyone has mentioned how his blog was even greater back then.
