Inland Empire: 2/10 would not watch. I usually like David Lynch, but this movie was hard to watch. The main character has a mindfuck basically through the movie and I guess your frustration builds with hers, but shit it was too long and boring.
Lucky Number Slevin sweet movie. Cool plot twists, funny and exciting. 7/10 would bang lucy liu.
Revolver too fast paced for what it was, debatable acting. all in all it tried way to hard to be deep. 5/10
anyone have any heist/con man movie recommendations? (like lucky number slevin)
The Killing, one of Kubrick's early movies. Bunch of guys rob a race track. Straight noir.
You want to know the only thing you can assume about a broken down old man? It's that he's a survivor.

I wanna see this. It's the same director that did Children of Men.

Just saw Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas. Pretty dumb movie with no real sense of plot at all, pretty long too. However, its very well directed and the acting by Johnny Dep and Benicio del Toro is top notch haha, it has some really really funny parts too.

Anyone seen Gatsby yet? I'm watching it tomorrow night, most places are sold out, but since I am a member at one of the big chains, I should be able to watch it anywhere.

Oh man classic. It helps if you're high or on drugs when you watch it.

Fear & Loathing is one of the best movies ever made. I rarely do drugs, but I really loved that movie.

Mud was slow and in my opinion overrated. Unique story line.. had kind of the Stand By Me feeling with the two young boys.. kind of reminded me of Moonrise Kingdom

How was Moonrise Kingdom? I might stream it now.
Anybody watch the new Star Trek yet?

Yeah I saw the new Star Trek. It isn't as good as the original, to be honest it's a long boring movie. On the plus-side, the IMAX 3d experience is superb.

I recommend David Mamet movies The Spanish Prisoner and House of Games.
"Heist" (Sam Rockwell, Gene Hackman, Delroy Lindo) and "Spartan" (Val Kilmer, Derek Luke, Ed O'Neill and a host of others) are also decent Mamet flicks.

I watched
Inception with Leonardo Decaprio. It's kind of confusing but he's a thief that steals people's secrets and ideas from their dreams. His team have to plant an idea in someone's dream for their last job. The movie was ok but there had to be a love relationship that messes everything up

I think I need to watch it again to fully comprehend everything. I would say check it out, it's decent.
Anyone seen
Here After with Matt Damon? I wanna check it out.

The last movie I watched was Jack Reacher. It was nothing special and I wouldn't pay to see it
