It could be true. But it's hard to know, because a person changes as well.

So if someone says "the nightlife was great 15 years ago, now it's shit" my reaction is "well, then you were 22 and now you're 37". So the experience is going to be different.

I had a fittie approach me last time I was out in London and had my GF not come back from dancing at the wrong time I would have had a number for my first Serbian girl. Now that Shoreditch is crap it is hard to find good spots in London as they can be spread out but go to the right place,, be prepared to spend £10 and over for a drink and it can be a goldmine. I used to use a mini cab driver who had an S class and get him to fly us about as sometimes its the only way to find the hotspots.

I might have been a tad rash with my previous statements about London. Yes it has changed but obviously I am just not down with the kids... So it appears that Dalston highstreet is where everything is going down. If you are in London just go straight there and bar hop all the way up from Dalston junction to Stoke Newington (the options are endless and it's just like the good old days in Shoreditch). There is plenty of young talent and very DTF. I got lucky twice in a week with my finest drunk game

Yep, think I said that on here about a year ago. But just cruise up and down Dalston high st and there will be plenty going on Fri and Sat. Even Thurs you can find something. There are still a few good spots in Shoreditch but most of it is just like the west end now.

That is the British media...the media tends to follow "news" based on the person rather than the way they look. It's hard to explain, in other parts of the world prettier people are given more opportunities...(to be T.V. hosts, actresses, singers etc) this doesn't really happen in England, in fact if anything it's actually the opposite! Also, I presume unlike most places in America, on an average day (depending on where you are) you'll actually see more foreigners than English people.
