I'll be leaving my home to another province (Alberta) for the first time in my life, starting Jan-Feb, to pursue a more lucrative career in the skilled trades. So I hope to be successful and be making 6 figures by the end of the year. As well, I've only been exposed to game for about a couple of months, and I feel by getting out of my home comfort zone and on my own, I'll have no choice but to game. So I hope to be able to seriously improve my gaming skills, starting off with making regular approaches whenever I'm off work, and eliminating that approach anxiety.

Hell yeah!
I woke up hungover, but I only had straight shots and no shitty food. Only sushi/chicken wings at the party. Slammed some water and am gonna go do a fasted workout then pick my booze up from my friends and hangout with him for a bit. Then finish unpacking and cook the super cheap turkey I got. I'll set up some files for keeping track of my progress and write in them. I disabled my OKC and after a few more minutes the RVF/facebook. Then I've got a date at the bar next door!
What have you or will you have done to get further to your goals today everyone?
*Psychology*
- Cease reading newspapers. Like clicking porn websites regularly, clicking newspaper websites regularly is a form of novelty addiction. Total waste of time. If something important happens, people will talk about it. You'll hear about it. Anything else is just info porn.
- Cease watching TV. Reading a book is more satisfying.
- Cut down wanking to twice a week - and at least one of those wanks done without looking at porn.
*Heath and fitness*
- Start juicing (veg and fruits, not the other stuff).
- Perform cardio once a week, rising to twice and then thrice a week (I hate cardio; more of a weights guy).
- Focus weight-training more on my traps, delts, triceps, and abs.
Realistic goals. Life-enhancing goals.

I intend to work on being more sexually aggressive. More than anything else this is probably my weakest point. Once I start receiving sexual IOIs from a girl I can quickly ramp up my sexual aggression but without them it's very difficult for me to do. (Ever bring a girl home and she's just sitting there on your sofa almost sexless?)

3) Start Boxing (need to get to a city w/ a gym)
4) Make more (reading about financing notes and import/export)
5) Read as much as possible. Autobiographies are 'here's how I fucked up'. Take advantage of it.

Mine is to drink not drink alcohol.
I was totally sober for 4 months of last year and the first 3 months of 2012. I felt fucking amazing. I've never had any problems or gotten in trouble but I really feel like this addiction could consume me.
Last year my friend came into town to visit and we ended up going to 6 or 7 different bars and I got blackout drunk. On the way home I barely rear-ended a car about 1 block from my house. When I pulled over I told the guy, "I'm really sorry, I'll give you my information if you want me to pay for a repair I will even though there isn't any visual damage." He looked at me and said, "You've been drinking, haven't you?" So I replied with the typical, "I've had a couple, yeah. But there isn't any damage to your car." He said, "You wait right here, I'm calling the police." I told him, "Look, if you call the police, I'm leaving. I'm not getting a DWI over what is not even a fender bender."
He just kept saying, "I'm calling the police. You wait right here." So I got in my car and drove one block home. When I woke up in the morning I went to my local police department and I filed a report that basically said I tried to give my information to the guy but he got belligerent with me so I had to leave out of fear for me life but I wanted there to be a record of this happening because I was willing to pay for any damage because I was at fault. It was the last I ever heard of it.
I really thought that story would have been my wake up call and helped me to stop drinking but it only worked for about 6 months.
This new year I was driving home totally shitfaced when a cop pulled beside me and turned on his lights, I nearly shit a brick. But he pulled over the car in front of me.
Fuck, I've been so lucky to have never gotten a DWI.

There's a differenc between drinking alcohol and drinking and driving.
You better cut that shit out before you hurt yourself, or worse, someone else.
Seems like you're a tough learner though.

Hell yeah. Also, for anyone who has trouble starting on something, or someone who does not believe they can achieve their goals, I suggest making a short list of affirmations and writing them down. I got this from reading Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle.
Here's my list:
"I am calm, cool & collected. I am fearless. I am in peak physical condition. I am focused. I am in control."
I know these sound kind of goofy, but I did this for a couple months and it made a noticeable difference. The whole idea of affirmations is that they tap into your subconscious. Then by tapping into your subconscious, you begin to believe that you are actually achieving your goals. It also is a daily reminder of what you are trying to achieve in life.
Also, it's even better to make your affirmations specific, and to visualize them happening on a daily basis. I will give couple of specific ones that I am including with the more general ones. Since I can carry out conversations pretty well now, but I still have a massive fear of rejection my affirmation would be: "I am asking 8 women a month out on a date." It is a basic goal that is not that hard to achieve, but it is realistic and would lead to personal progress for me.
Best of luck to you guys on your personal progress this year!

I want to get an oil job and pay off most of my debt. 2012 wasn't that good for me but I want to change that next year!! Good luck everyone with their resolutions.

In North Dakota or elsewhere?
Week late, fuck it.
body shit:
-Continue my weight loss. I graduated weighing 295, I'm currently at 265. I'd like to get to 230 by May. Hopefully I'll see abs by then.
- Keep my strength up. I slacked a lot in the weight room after football, I'd like to get my squat back to 500 (currently 455), bench back to 375 (currently 335), and set PRs in deadlift(600), and OHP (275).
- Earn my BJJ blue belt. Currently I have one stripe on my white belt.
languages:
- get fluent in Spanish - I plan on hitting salsa clubs and picking up fly latinas. I'm confident in my conversational Spanish but it's not where I want it to be.
- Learn basic Russian. I've started some Memrise exercises, the alphabet is already fucking with my head.
- Learn basic French, German. Between the Hacking Memrise courses and Duolingo, this should be doable.
career:
- keep stacking paper at my current job, keep eyes and ears open for potential upgrades (if any of you know good leads for engineers, holler)
- start a side business. I'm still in capital building mode, but I have a few ideas worth looking into further.
Good luck everyone and have a bitchin awesome 2013.
