Yeah, it was really hot and muggy here this weekend. Had a negroni from an Italian restaurant/bar and it was just great.

Moscow Mules are what I serve to people at home now. So easy to make and the alcohol really creeps up on you without tasting it so much. Bought a muddler for it which really makes a difference and is impressive looking when you're making it.

What kind of ginger beer you use? Alcoholic or non-alcoholic and what brand? I've experimented with a few. Crabbies is the first I tried and only one I like so far. Have since tried a few alcoholic brands none of which I liked and recently picked up some Reeds Ginger Beer and wasn't a fan of that one either. Crabbies is by far my fav I've tried thus far. You arne't kidding about them creeing either, 4.5% beer with 2 shots of vodka, one drink has me buzzing.

I use Bundaberg. It was the best looking bottle at the liquor store.

Tastes great too. non-Alcoholic. I'm going to try to buy some dried ginger and add it to the drink, a few bars I go to do that and it makes it good.

The Negroni has been my favorite drink this summer. It's gets a girl's attention when you order one, she always asks about it. I've never had a girl not like it when I gave her a sip

I tell the bartender to add just a splash of club soda because I like how that lightens up the drink and makes it even more refreshing.

The problem with Negronis though is that you can only get a good one at upscale places; the usual bar that has some 25 year old girl slinging rum and cokes is a no go.

In those places I will just order a G&T in the summer; I figure it's difficult to ruin that
