SD is best in Fall. Summer's popping, sure, but October is when the real magic aligns.

Nah, it's in San Clemente, Orange County.

Recently moved to SD. Overall it's a nice city (lots of homeless which is no surprise), lots to do, great weather, decent nightlife and it's situated around other points of interest, i.e. mountains not too far for snowboarding or whatever. I do have to agree with most of what was written about from others. PB is okay, but definitely has a grimey vibe that isn't my style.

There are no doubt many venues downtown, but I don't think they realize their high-end clubs, and bars for that matter, really aren't all THAT great. Small cities around europe had clubs that were leaps and bounds ahead of SDs finest, Fluxx for example.

That said, 5's also think they're 9's. The women here do have a lot of attitude and bitch shields. I've had success, but encountered a lot of cunt behavior in the process.

Man Diego suffers from horrible ratios.

Therein lies the problem.

Give me $100 and logistics in SD over $10,000 and logistics in Man Jose. (Of course no p4p because those are not notches)

SD has always been a blast for me and successful swoops.

Could be because the crew I party with down there has the entire City On-Lock. They're essentially celebrities in SD.

Yeah I always thought S.D. was full of hot chicks, whenever guys in NorCal talk about "mythical" places full of hotties San Diego always is mentioned. It makes me wonder if it really is bad down south too, or if it's all just relative. I'm sure a guy from San Jose would say San Diego is stacked, just like a guy from Alaska might go to Portland and think Portland had the hottest women he'd seen.

Yeah, Norcal guys always talk about Man Diego.

Man Diego might be one of the most overrated places in America. Not kidding.

Miami does 100-1 on the place.

In reality it is probably 200 or 300-1 but if I say that it sounds like I am exaggerating. I am not.

International Arrivals at Miami Airport alone defeats all of San Diego county from the border of The Orange Curtain to the border of Mex.

Real talk.

Good quesadillas with guac though.

The one advantage San Diego has over some other major cities like Miami is you can roll on a limited bankroll. With the exception of a few La Jolla trust funders scattered around the rest of the city is broke as a joke.

Curious as to which parts of San Diego you're referring to? I could see getting places in downtown on lock pretty easily. Not so much in the PB/college areas.

I've decided to completely swear off PB. It repeatedly shows me, without failure, that it is completely overrated as a party area. But she's like the mistress I just keep going back to.

I would be curious as well.

For you know, curiosity's sake.

PB is atrocious.

Most overrated party district in America.

Knee surgery is more fun.

Very valid point.

San Diego is super expensive, but there is no real "expectation" for you to have money if you are younger there.

A couple cervezas, three rolled with guac and a jay and you are in there.

A guy who has the ability to order "extra guac" is straight up balling there.

I have a theory that San Diego is the city where people have the least disposable income in America.

If you compare costs of living to income, it would certainly make sense.

Not too mention most people with any money have there money tied up in their house.

That is one of about 50 reasons the nightlife sucks so bad there.

The city has such a culture of mediocrity that it is completely acceptable to be unsuccessful or even an outright failure.

Here is how I see it:

San Diego is a good place for "living", ie it's safe, you can surf everyday, good weather etc.

And The Del Mar Racetrack, is the exception. That is World Class.

But that is only 6 weeks of the year. (Although I think I read they are going to be extending the season).

But as far as girls? You are better putting your effort somewhere else.

Nightlife? Forget it.

You want to be King of The City? Not worth your while.

The rewards at the top of the Game in San Diego are minimal.

That same guy is better suited to putting his effort into a better city; his rewards will be that much higher.

An middling, average Playboy in Soho or Miami Beach is going to do 1000 times better than the #1 guy in all of San Diego.

Fact.

^ G has it SPOT on. I've been here almost 5 years now. From broke college student with no game to extremely successful career guy with tons of game.

It HAS gotten a little easier with the money because I can show up in my car and blow most people out of the water; the "extra guac" comment is no joke. I'm actually working on a San Diego Sluts eBook I'm going to publish for something like a dollar - more for shits and giggles than anything. I'd never recommend anyone move here solely for gaming though.

GManifesto, are you still here in San Diego?

I dont know G - I think being the kind of SD can reap some pretty good talent. But in the strange way the city operates the king isnt the guy w/the money, style, or experience, its the guy who is wired to the local scene or is a promoter/DJ who dresses in flip flops and basketball jerseys and sharing a crappy apartment w/three other dudes. Its been 5 or so years since I've been out in SD but I remember the talent being pretty strong. But I live in DC, so yeah, thats not saying much.

You won't get any argument from me about the talent.

I think a large problem too is the large military population. There's just a massive over saturation of dudes. To top that off, all the guys that live in the barracks go out at night and blow all their money, buying girls drinks. They get massive amounts of attention.

The solution is, of course, to make the girls buy you drinks.

No.

Never to return.

But I know that city better than anyone.

Again, you do have a valid point.

Being a local coke dealer/surfer in La Jolla could very well get you the #1 spot.

However, that guy is not cranking quality girls night after night.

Even the top tier guys in Man Diego serial date.

They don't crank girls. They lock down a hot girl (which isn't really that hot if you put her in Miami Beach or NYC).

Not to mention the girls are not feminine at all.

It is ground zero for sleeve tattoos on girls.

They dress like sh*t.

Girls hate high heels.

They hate dresses.

They love flip flops.

They never wear thongs on the beach, always that horrific girl "board short thing".

It's not that strong.

You only think it is strong because you are using DC as a reference point.

Does Man Diego's girls dominate Zanesville? Sure.

Does it beat Miami Beach? F*ck no.

You will see more hot girls in 3-5 days in Miami Beach than you will see in Man Diego in a year.

No exaggeration.

----

But if you want to surf?

Have at it.

Not to many places in America you can drive 30 minutes and surf in a foreign country with no one out.

FLUXX and Stingaree are the clubs I experienced and I murdered it.

My crew down there are basically local celebs from owning MJ dispensaries.

We roll up to the club and go in a side entrance right to our table. When we're dropping $10,000+ in a night in SD we draw attention.

Add to that they own one of the suites at the Hard Rock Hotel and Intervention Sundays are off the chain.

Also, they own a couple mansions which we throw house parties at.

Granted, most cats experience will differ from this.

Del Mar is ridiculous, but like G said, that's only 6 weeks.

I find it a fun place to visit for a weekend and turn out some college sluts. I couldn't live their though, because it's too small of a city and not enough going on for me.

I love Sting. Hate Fluxx. Not enough space to maneuver around. Having a table though, I can definitely see being able to kill it.

I can definitely see how owning MJ dispensaries gets you a hell of a lot of celeb status. Unfortunately, that's not my scene at all.

I'd say let me know next time you roll through, but I got nothing close to offer what your friends have [Image: banana.gif]

Yeah, see that's what I mean.

Fluxx and Sting are so sub par.

Both clubs would be out of biz in a New York minute in New York, Vegas or Miami Beach.

The whole operation in Man Diego just reeks of the Minor Leagues (again, exception is Del Mar Racetrack, which is World Class).

Dropping 10k in Miami Beach and you are swooping Latin TV stars.

Dropping 10k in San Diego at fluxx or sting and you are swooping a (undercover white trash) girl that wears UGG boots from Irvine with a Butterfly tattoo on her lower back and has never been to New York City and thinks Miami "must have a lot of Mexicans".

Not to mention they are serving you drinks in plastic cups on the roof and you are being ushered out of the place at 1:15 am.

Hell, in Miami Beach I am wrapping up after dinner drinks just starting to think about where I am going to go out. And I have already gotten three numbers from fly girls from Russia, Medellin and a Cuban girl.

Not to mention the security guards breaking up your after party at the Hard Rock because you are "too loud".

And when you try to move the after party, you are getting popped for a DUI or drunk in public.

It just doesn't pencil out.

Maybe it was just me, but I really had to watch my back in PB. Lots of little cliques and guys looking to start fights.

Not a good place to roll solo.
