funnily make them look stupid. Agree with their sentiments, using misspellings and other dumb comments.

example...
"ugh have to take the bus to Central"
reply: omg my lif is so hard I hav 2 use bus

Facebook really is a girls dream. I had this Dutch chick tell me once (really cool girl) "Oh I dont really use facebook much, only if I feel like getting a little self-esteem boost. I put a picture of me and brother the other day and I got 80 something likes, its ridicolous." At least she sees it for what it is unlike so many other chicks.

This is what I do...

Troll the shit out of them then when they delete you don't accept their request after. One good troll post from me and *poof* 20 friends gone. I don't care but I never re-add people. Then continue trolling via private message

You don't even need to troll to get some people to unfriend you. All you have to do is disagree. The cousin of a good friend was on my friends list. He's one of those provocateur types, always posting something about sex/sexuality to get a reaction, or taking some extreme position on something just for the sake of doing so. He's a try-hard, always trying to appear deeper and more thoughtful than he really is. I generally don't get into political discussions, but one day he posted something about what was going on in Libya, and I disagreed with him. I wasn't even flaming him - my tone wasn't confrontational. He went off. I responded. He kept coming. I responded again. He showed more and more with each post that he didn't really know what he was talking about. He unfriended me, just for disagreeing in an adult discussion. What made it even worse was that some bitch was cheerleading for him, and she showed she knew even less about the subject than he did. I got a good chuckle out of it, because here's a guy that talks tons of shit on FB, but had the thinnest skin when challenged. He's more of an attention whore than almost any chick I've encountered.

I actually enjoy observing some of these interactions once in a while.

For example, a hot chick will post something as inane as 'I want dairy queen', leading to multiple likes, and a flutter of excitement in beta hearts, and even more inane comments by her friends.

Agreed...attractive women will also get stupid comments at an alarming rate from other women, usually by less attractive women.

"Beta females" possibly.

I agree. There is something classy about avoiding political discussions in a public forum, but letting it be know you're informed on the issue.

I'd sometimes leave comments about being a "right-wing liberal" in those political debates. They didn't like it much.

I am inclined to just post a reality check when there is a flood of comments..know it would get me deleted right away though. Facebook can only be "positive, yayyyyyyyyyyyy". The sad part is that ninety percent of people are too conditioned to understand this. A friend of mine broke up with gf, then posted just that and got dozens of likes from other girls. Maybe I should post something dicey or sad and flame the "likes" as "what? You like the fact that I saw a dead kid in the street? You are sick!"
