Moldova v Central Asia. I'm with Dirk Dingy all the way.

+1. Central Asia is for the guys who look for "something else", I mean who travel not solely to fuck girls, but also because they enjoy being in an off the beaten tracks region with an entralling culture. I have always enjoyed tremendously Tashkent, which is for me, until now, the most enjoyable city I have ever been to in FSU.

Yes I agree.

I like chasing women as much as the next man but I need something else to keep me occupied and stimulated. To go somewhere purely for women isn't my bag at all because apart from anything else, if you don't get a lot of action you've wasted a journey. Central Asia offers more than women, it offers adventure and crazy escapades. I'm sure anyone who has been will have tales to tell of random craziness they witnessed or were involved in.

It does seem to be a black hole in the forum's concious though and I'm not sure why. ISG members are more adventurous than us on RVF it seems and are willing to go further off the map to find places. Maybe they are on average an older group and have more opportunities. I know you have been Prosal and with all your FSU experience say that Tashkent is your favourite place. Duke has been and talks it up as a great place. I've been and try to spread the word but beyond that it seems that few are willing to give it a try. The Duke summed it up perfectly when he said it's a cross between EE and SEA. That is EXACTLY what it is in my opinion ( obviously with regional variations ). You have the Slavic culture but transplanted onto an Asian one which gives you the best of both worlds. If anyone was torn between SEA and FSU as a destination I really would say give Central Asia a try. It's a fun place.

You're right and the kind of "work" you (or Partizan, ect) are doing (Caucasus, Khirgistan, Russian second/third-tier cities) is the very core of the pioneer elite Player. True adventure can't be found in meccas for sex-hungry tourists, but beyond the confines of mass destinations. It is also what really turns my crank.

The NUMBER ONE thing that I just absolutely can't stand when I am traveling is the simple view of another foreigner ... it's enough to send me into a tailspin of suicidal depression. In fact I hate ALL other sex-hungry tourists. What a pathetic bunch of LOSERS !!! ....hmm ... yeah, ok ...I'm one of them, duh ...just more reason for me to detest them. (wink)
