Overview:
Tiraspol is the main city in Transnistria (Also known as PMR) which is a country inside Moldova which is not recognized by the UN and most of the world. It is different than Moldova mainly as most citizens are Russian/Ukraine origin.

Logistics/Safety:
It is considered a rough place and we did felt a bit intimidated, 1st the border guards took a bribe from us and also in the city center many police cars and as foreigners we looked suspicious and the police followed us.
In the streets you can see occasionally drunken fellows.

Transportation:
We had a rented car and it was easy to roam around, but since most things to do are in the center and taxis are cheap it is also an option. For getting there, there are several trains/buses a day from Chisinau.

Accommodation
As usually in less traveled cities the hotels are not good for your money, better rent an apartment which is 30-40 Euro per day, if you speak Russian probably less. There is a website: http://makler.md/, you can find there options (use translator)

Day Game
There are some Cafes in the center in 25th October and Sverdlov streets, good options are also small parks in between the buildings, girls tend to hang out there or in a bigger park near Aist hotel near the river.

Nightlife
We have been in midweek and the only place which had a decent amount of people is the club Vilya in hotel Russia. We roamed with the car around to all places people recommended only to find out they were relatively empty.
In Vilya there are always hot girls around, some can come even at 3pm.
One evening guys were fighting outside the club, per the results we were very happy not to be involved.

The Girls
As you cross the border from Moldova which is more Romanian style you immediately see the difference and the higher quality of pussy here. You can easily see 9s on the streets and in the clubs, level of English is poor, not many speaks but you can manage. We found an English speaking girl which hanged out with us and used as a translator.
As for attitude, you can either get a complete no no and frighten look of the girl or on the contrary enthusiasm to chat with foreigner. As this place is not frequently visited it is still has the royalty aroma around foreigners. We felt it in the club while we sat on the bar, ordered Sushi and saw all girls around looking and wish to chat with us, we were like the kings in the party later dancing and flirting with many.
SNLs seems hard, it is eventually a small city with ~160,000 citizens so girls would not like to be seen picked up and in general the girls we met and dated seemed to be quite modest.

My girl
I met a super cute 19 yo girl in the park, using the translator I've been told that she is an orphan which had a very rough life, we talked several hours and this girl was actually willing to leave everything and come with me, I mean if I would hang out there for a while and she will get a proof that I am serious. Per her word she was a virgin and although I am a skeptic person I do believe her.
We do had a make out, she have amazing C cupped round and firm tits which now when I think of them I am considering a re-visit [Image: smile.gif]
The bottom line is that she way too much naive and the language barrier is an issue, I mean if I bring her to US it would be very hard for her to get along. For example in my last day in Chisinau I asked her to come and spend the day with me but she did not know how to come with the bus and even with explanation she was afraid to travel alone - like a kid that you should raise.

Conclusion
Tirsapol is one of those places which did not change much since communism time and if you look for such place go there, the girls which are happy to meet foreigners are very approachable but no easy bangs, Russian is essential.

How old are these chicks? Definitely very cute though.

Would you say this is the typical look of the ethnic mix in Tiraspol or is this the generic Russian look you find down there?

In Peru 2001, I was treated like a rockstar. Since then, I've been searching the globe for places like that, and unfortunately, for the places I've been, I haven't found any other places where I got the rockstar treatment. SEA and Uzbekistan were damn close though. I know you were in Tiraspol only a short time, but it seems like from your report that possibly Tiraspol is one of the special places were you get treated like a rockstar or "royalty". Thanks for the report.

I've never been anywhere with such a high ratio of hot women as I saw in Tiraspol. I definitely didn't get royalty treatment though,in fact nobody really gave a shit that I was foreign. The girls there all have Russian passports so they've all been to Odessa etc. so it's not like they never get out and don't see foreigners.

I liked Tiraspol,a sleepy little provincial Soviet city, very very cheap. Summertime was cool with all the girls on the beaches but I'd die of boredom in winter.

Good to have some updated intel anyway.

I have family there. They if anything distrust foreigners as a whole since Russian propaganda is strong and anti western. I do not see how a city of 165k is a good PUA place. Lacks the quantity. I mean you can only go to the same venue soo many times.
A lot of girls go to study in Moscow and half have family in Odessa or close by. If you think you got special treatment, head to a Ukrainian/Russian city of 150k (there are plenty of them). I think you will find same environment ,without the danger. The gov't is basically Mafia there. I really think your novelty , was more due to size of city than it being Tiraspol.

^^ Yes,also people might think not many Westerners go to Transdniester and hence it would make a good hunting ground however I saw more foreigners there then I did in Belarusian cities or Russian ones. It's become a place that foreigners go to try to get the Soviet 'experience' but instead find that Tiraspil has pizza chains,German restaurants, new stadiums, casinos and car showrooms ( mostly owned by the ubiquitous 'Sheriff' ). It's more developed then any Moldovan city except Kishinev really.

Well, I just do not see how its better than any other FSU city that size ,especially in small FSU cities the men leave for military etc. The real question is how to game in places that small.

They are in the 19-23 range.
I am not expert in ethnics and races but as written they look better and more white on average than in Chisinau.

By some of the people yes, like that night in the club and also when you stop someone on the park and you can see she is so eager to chat with you because your a foreigner. It is not by all people.

It is definitely not for PUA to harvest, small population, not many venues, small town.
I haven't been to 150K city in Ukraine or Russia so cant compare, any specific city you recommend?

No, not really, I tended to avoid 1 horse towns. They good if you have a GF there , otherwise what to do? Go Ismail if you want.
By the way when I said city is mafia run , i mean literally. Unlike the rest of FSU were the gangsters blended into the government, The gov't is mafia thugs under Moscow control. I do not even think theres a real university student body there. The students study in Russia. Most really small cities do not have a student body to game year long.

North Korea...heh

My grandparents were in Moscow once during the 1950s. On the bus, someone covertly handed my grandmother a note in Russian. She later had it translated. It just said "You seem like nice people".

Uzbekistan was sort of bizarre when I went in 2009. It's something like Ukraine but stranger. Their currency's largest bill, 1000 Som, is officially worth 48 cents USD, and unofficially worth much less. Everyone will gladly accept USD and give you much better rate than the official one. Receipts are hand-written because nobody has machines to print receipts. This means you pay whatever they feel like charging you. As a proper dictatorship, there are cops are everywhere, and they will question you. Locals are intrigued with foreigners. Ask a random local for directions and you may get a tour of the city and an invitation to dinner.

Fascinating.

Out of interest do you know which year exactly? If it was 1953 or earlier then the people doing it took an incredible risk in writing that and passing it on.

Uzbekistan.

My comrade-in-arms Dirkdingy posted on another forum this interesting comparison of Tashkent vs Chisinau. Worth a read.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

- Looks of the Girls

Statistically speaking, I believe that the average girl in Moldova is better looking than the average girl in Uzbekistan. Moldova seems to have an abundance of 6.0-7.2 women. While some women in Uzbekistan are very beautiful, there are some ethnic Uzbeks that can be quite ugly. It’s been my experience that ethnic women [Indian, Arab, Stanian] are either very beautiful or very ugly. However, Uzbekistan has more stunners left than Moldova does. It’s possible to find 8s and 9s in Tashkent while in Moldova those types of women are long gone.

I originally was in Moldova in ’05, and while the Grade A chicks had been picked over, there were still some stunners around. Now, in Chisinau, most of the C-level chicks have gotten out. The best that you can hope for in Chisinau now are students that haven’t left yet.

Conversely, while many top level Uzbek chicks may be out of the country, they seem to return much more frequently than the Moldovan chicks do. In essence, while the Golden years may have already passed Tashkent by, there are still more than enough very good looking women to go around. This is not true in Moldova.

Also, remember, Tashkent has around 3 million people and Chisinau has less than a 1/3rd of that (750k); therefore, the mathematics of the game favor Tashkent.

- Competition

I was recently back in Chisinau to see my buddy’s baby, and I was shocked at how jaded the scene there had become. I went to Drive with an old fling of mind that now lives in Hamburg, and the place was FULL OF SEX TOURISTS—Greeks, Italians, a gang of Turks, and two Dutch guys. And Jews from Israel…some of them doing business there, many simply saying that they do…but all of them trying to play the big fish in the pond.

In Tashkent, the only Westerners I saw there were at the Irish Pub or at my table in the disco—and when my German mate wasn’t up to go out I was usually the only foreigner.

- Availability of P4P

Perhaps this is the most disappointing aspect of the scene for Moldova: there is no defined sex industry in Kishinev. Unless one lives there long term or has connections, it’s not easy to find quality P4P in Moldova … Any decent Moldovan hooker is playing her trade outside of Moldova.

In Tashkent, there are defined P4P locations: Diplomat, Rich Club, Skybar, and Julianos. All of these places have tons of *****s in them for reasonable rates.

- Attitude of girls

Tashkent wins hands down. These girls are not spoiled-- even though some of them have been--and have an air of eastern hospitality about them.

I was truly impressed with the niceness of the girls in Tashkent. This may have been because I am of prime marriage age and many of the girls there are seriously marriage minded.

I visited a few marriage agencies, looking for serious potential mates and I was not disappointed.

I Moldova, the girls are jaded, or should be by now, and they are blatantly looking to suck something from you. In Tashkent, some are as well, but not as blatantly.

The one positive that Kishinev has over Tashkent is that the Moldovan girls are very fun loving and are always up for a party. Anytime you wanna take them out and drink they are up for it..they just can’t say no. In Tashkent, they try to appear more conservative.

- Stuff to do aside from girls

Moldova sucks. I lived there and had to get the fuck outta there every other weekend or I went nuts….except for pussy the place is small and barren and full of dumb ass dudes.

Uzbekistan has the mountains, a decent lake, and some great historical sites in Buhkara and Samatkand. I guess once you do them once it’s enough, but weekend jaunts in Moldova are restricted to Bucharest and Pionna Brasov which can cost some dough and require a visa for the dwamna.

- Misc

The Uzbek masses, like the Moldovan proletariat, are a fairly dumb lot, but they seem to be more hospitable and are more tolerant.

Both places are fairly safe, and Uzbekistan is a politically repressive police state. That’s splendid for you and me because 5-0 will make reasonably sure that you are not jacked. I would not go frolicking around in the South by the Afghan border or in the area that borders Tajikistan unless one wished to be acquainted with Kalashnikov version of fundamentalist Islam

I got drugged and robbed by some hookers in Chisinau a few years ago, but, surprisingly, I bear no grudge re the incident and find it more humorous than anything else…if I only I could have gotten my memory stick back.

- Infrastructure

Moldova, likely by virtue of proximity to Europe, takes the prize here. One can use credit cards at ever-growing locations in Kish and ATMS are plentiful. In Tashkent, the lack of ATMs is a real *****. The few ones they do have are always out of money, rely on a dial up connection, and normally result in the issuing bank blocking the card until you call them to confirm that you are, in fact, attempting to withdraw money in Uzbekistan. One must rely on cash advances which can result in huge usage fees by the time the local bank takes its 3-4% commission and your own bank charges its own foreign transaction fees.

Moreover, in Moldova 1000 lei notes are printed which is about 80 bucks; in Uzbek the largest note is 1000 som which is equivalent to 50 cents. You literally have to walk around with a sac full of money for a decent night on the town.

- Tolerance

While this won’t matter to most mongers, the women of Uzbekistan are much more tolerant and open minded than the women in Moldova are. Uzbekistan is an incredibly diverse place, the people there have to get along, and the Uzbeks stereotype much less than the people in Moldova do. Although I would not doubt if someone went to Tashkent perpetuating ethnic stereotypes they would be accepted, but, it’s not an automatic like in Kish.

I’m curious to know what Prosal’s take on Tashkent is.

I hope this helps

Interesting comparison and I'd say my experiences in Moldova and Central Asia back it up.

I personally did not enjoy Kishinev too much, I found it very boring, just a dusty backwater with not much to do beyond drink. I spent a few days in Unghen on the Romania border and had some fun times there but not enough to want to go back to the country. The drive from Unghen to Kishinev really highlights just why it is the poorest country in Europe. It was like travelling back in time to a peasant way of life. Small dirty towns and villages with rotting infrastructure and no attractive women. In fact I saw more dead dogs on the streets than attractive women. You can understand why human traffickers chose Moldova for women, it was pretty depressing even knowing I could leave. To live there would be unbearable.

The only decent place in Moldova is Transdniester ( PMR - Pridnestrovie ) in my opinion. Wealthier, cleaner, safer, better looking women, more orderly. I liked it but again not much to do unless you were studying Russian there.

Central Asia trumps Moldova in every department pretty much in my opinion. The only downside is costs to get to it and except Kyrgyzstan you need visas ( I think they are easily gotten though ). There is also landscapes, the food, friendly women who are not hardened, the rarity of Westerners, the lower prices etc. Without giving too much away without his permission, there is a forum member who is over 50 ( I think ) who lives in Bishkek and has a harem of students in rotation which offers you a glimpse into the possibilities. It seems however that Central Asia is a step too far for most guys who are searching for the 'next' destination. I have to go back later in the year to go to a wedding and can't wait.

Moldova v Central Asia. I'm with Dirk Dingy all the way.

+1. Central Asia is for the guys who look for "something else", I mean who travel not solely to fuck girls, but also because they enjoy being in an off the beaten tracks region with an entralling culture. I have always enjoyed tremendously Tashkent, which is for me, until now, the most enjoyable city I have ever been to in FSU.

That said, I've always had a ball in Chisinau. Self-promotion is seldom flattering, but I must amit that I had a pretty good success rate there. ))

Yeah, I feel old sometimes. I even now sometimes (often) prefer booze to girls. That said, if I have the choice, I'm still going to choose dinner, chat and a blowjob over dinner, chat and a peck on the cheek.

First time I was in Indonesia was in 89 and in Brasil 91 by the way. I feel REALLY old sometimes.

The ISG is mainly for mongers who indulge in the P4P scene. I presume you were the exception Prosal. That said, the lads over on the ISG were the trailblazers, venturing into EE when most of us didnt even know it existed. There is some gems of info to be gleaned from there amongst all the P4P mongering. However the photo gallery has the greatest selection of tits and arses that would rival any site.

I disagree, most girls never went to the west and surely Lexus is not common at all. There is only 1 western style hotel- Russia hotel.
The common girls entertainment is buying a cheap 1 liter beer plastic bottle and drink it in the nearby park.
Although it is not like "time capsule vibe back to Soviet times", it still hardly have westerners and has a unique atmosphere.

As a side note, I've recently read "A Siberian Education" by Nicolai Lilin. It's a memoir about the criminal socialisation of young people from a traditional Siberian community, displaced into Transnistria ... a lot to learn about the intricacies of Russian mob hierarchies and criminal codes in here (even if some things in the book seem not just improbable, but impossible and seem to be pure fantasy from the author). Not a unforgettable piece of writing but definitely an entertaining read.

Just to clear up your points:
I never wrote most have been to the west. I said ( in relation to Pridnestrovie women ) they travel to Russia ( and Ukraine for that matter ) whenever they want. I stand by that.
In relation to Lexus, again I said in relation to Belarus, and you see top level cars all the time due to the ease of financing available in Belarus. My friends who earned $300 a month drove new Audi A6's etc.

I agree with you Marco in terms of unique atmosphere and as you said it's certainly not a Soviet atmosphere. Apart from the funny money you could be in any provincial city in Russia pretty much, which is exactly what it is, a Slavic island on the coast of a Daco-Romanian country.

Interesting place to visit non the less especially in summer when the banks of the Dniester are teeming with women.
