North Jersey here as well. This is setting up to be epic.

Guess I'm the first from the army of us in DC to report in. Steady rain, nothing too intense yet. Hoping not to lose power like we did over the 4th.

Supposed to be picking up shortly.

Its supposed to come up to Toronto, I'll be basing my interest on what happens down in the US, not like its going to strengthen over land.

There are some bars near me that I can walk to, I think tomorrow night they will be packed.

Also, I just got back from the supermarket, there were a few girls there. I am going back in a couple of hours to see the talent.

When I lived in Houston, the news reports said that a category 5 was going to hit. Over a million people left the city. I stayed because I didn't want to spend 10 hours in non moving traffic. At the last minute the Hurricane turned north and never hit Houston. You can't predict where a Hurricane will end up.

At a diner with some coworkers having lunch and a few drinks.
They closed our work at 1pm and sent everyone home.

Chilling in Westchester, standing by in case of power failure.

Anyone else think the media is overhyping this storm on purpose? Look at the sales increases- at my place, all the hardware stores, supermarkets, and gas stations are full. . .
gotta keep people buying stuff and Sandy is doing her job.

Have good insurance, If you think you're going to lose power get in your car and drive the opposite way of the storm and get drunk and pick up girls.

A good hurricane game opener "Oh shit! You guys survived too?"
If you see a girl that is decked out in rain gear "Oh someone came prepared!"

I said those two openers to chicks on the bus coming back from Wal-Mart and I had some funny conversations. Did not push to get their numbers, but its all good. All of the hoes survive hurricanes it seems.

For instance, the freshman girl who I almost banged but got cockblocked by her shitty friends was sitting on the table next to my football friends and I. Then another bitch, who I helped my buddy bang by blocking the cockblocker, was on the bus too! If he can fuck this bitch on my bed! I can fuck her too!

I love Hurricane Sandy. Even though she's a bitch, she's not stopping me from wearing my fresh halloween ideas!

Nope.

In MD, not far from DC. I'm in the 'burbs so we expect to lose power. I'm planning on texting all my flakes when the shit hits in a couple hours, and killing time with a fuck buddy if the power is out tomorrow.

In NY, upstate. The worst of the storm is not supposed to hit my area so I'm not terribly worried, though the possibility of a power outage is still there. Wind is just now starting to pick up-its supposed to max at 50-60mph.

If we can make it through this without an outage, I'd be pleased. My LSAT scores, which were supposed to come out either today or tomorrow, have already been delayed by this storm (the wait/torture now extends through to Thursday) and it already ran through my homeland (Jamaica) and gave my relatives and countrymen a very hard time. I just hope Sandy is done fucking with me and mine.
