I have some experience with this - getting a number from a stripper means absolutely nothing, much like with real girls. There's something primal about it. Bad ratios, naked women, sex in the air, hormones raging on all sides. This goes beyond strip clubs. When a lot of guys are vying for one females attention in any situation, the same thing happens. Crazy part is, women do it to.
I don't think it's one factor but many. I honestly believe pheromones have something to do with it, social factors, simple competition, ect. You can almost call it a phenomenon, but humans are too simple.
Not hating on anyone, but I stay away from those places. The deck is stacked against you. And yes, most strippers are ate up like a soup sammich.

It may have been rationalize_this. He did post some data on Scarlett's. I posted all the data I have with the exception of Wonderland and Goldrush (downtown). Goldrush is without a doubt the worst strip club I have ever been to. There were three strippers working there. All were horrible looking and had tons of attitude. The girl behind the bar had tons of attitude too. The only reason I went there was some taxi driver was saying how great it was. I knew that didn't sound right, but I wanted to check it out anyway.
