One of my best friends, a male model, told me about this site this week and encouraged me to join. We both joined this week and were both accepted.
The way it works is pretty interesting. The premise is that this is a dating site for attractive people. You sign up for a membership, post one or more photos of yourself, fill in some basic info, and then you are "rated" by current members of the site over a 48-hour period. Ultimately, you are either voted in or out.
The four rating categories are:
1) Beautiful
2) Hmm OK
3) No
4) Absolutely not
Members hold nothing back. Even my friend, a professional male model, garnered a few "absolutely not" ratings. His breakdown and mine, in terms of ordering, was the same at the time of acceptance: 2, 1, 4, 3 (ironic we both got more 4's than 3's, considering neither of us had ever repulsed anyone by our looks). Seems very pretentious and vain, of course, but that's the point.
As for its utility as a dating site, it seems to offer several advantages. One, there are absolutely no fatties or average girls on the site. This is a huge plus. Compare that to OKC where whales have cock being offered to them on a constant basis. Virtually every girl on BP is a reasonable lay to most men, even if she's not necessarily your type.
Two, it's global. There is a lot of representation in Eastern Europe, for example, which I found surprising.
The big con that I see is for guys who aren't attractive. Getting on is not easy apparently, so that's something to keep in mind. Be sure to put up your best pics if you join. Putting up a shirtless pic if you have an aesthetically attractive body is probably a good idea as well.
