There doesn`t seem to be too many options for fully furnished, short term apartment rentals in Colombia. The ones that are available are quite expensive for Colombia, but I guess that`s just the price a guy has to pay, and when it comes to pulling girls, its always better to be in a nice furnished condo than a hotel or especially a hostel.

I stayed in one in Bogota that rented for about $850 USD monthly or $55 a night, roughly the same for the one I stayed at in Cali. Here in Medellin I`m staying in a decent hotel for about $30 a night.

Yes Scotian, anyone who doesnt rent a furnished apartment in Colombia will lower his bang rate by 50 percent, at least. My bang rate in Bucaramanga is picking up a bit, though not at Medellin levels.....all due to my pad in the last floor of a nice apartment building, with a great view of the city.

Scotian, would you mind dropping the names of those hotels? The one I stayed in in Bogotá were slightly more expensive than $55 as I recall.

Choche, do you find your furnished apartments in Colombia "on the ground"? There doesn't seem to be many options on airbnb.

I don`t remember the name of the place I stayed at in Bogota for several weeks, I just showed up and they had a unit for me (furnsihed bachelor pad), I did this 4 different times as I came and went out of Bogota. Its on calle 55 with carerra 10, directly across the street from New Era barber shop (10-92 calle 55), just ask the black barber named Sio (he speaks fluent English) and he will help you.

In Cali I used this site, very nice places: http://calirentals.net/

in Medellin I stayed at Hotel Portico de la 70, near estadio, it was 50K per night, ac and wifi.

On the ground is also good. Stay in a hostel 2 or 3 days until you find a furnished apartment....which is not that hard to do, walking around and asking in a good part of any major Colombian city,
